The farmhouse was very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or extended stay.

Excellent directions and info from Niamh. Warm welcome. Beautiful setting - very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Definitely recommend. Will stay again but for two nights when we travel the east coast. And in addition less than an hour’s drive to Dublin Airport- perfect stop . Thanks Niamh

What a lovely place to stay. While off the beaten path, the views and peaceful area were worth the drive. Hosts were excellent and accommodating. There were some excellent dining options nearby in under 15 minutes driving.

I wonderful stay at a beautiful B and B. Incredible views and a fantastic breakfast. The owner was a deli lady who we enjoyed visiting with. Highly recommend a visit.

Really lovely place - view from the room and the house is stunning - host was engaging and fun. Loved the animals, but especially the view. Tip: if you're coming it's wise to bring some provisions as the drive to restaurants and stores is a little difficult and distant. Once you get there you want to stay.

Borrow a pair of rubber boots (Provided) and walk through fields with sheep, donkeys and some goats until you get down to the lake. On a sunny day it is just a perfect outing.

Beautiful, tranquil stay with all the luxuries and a gorgeous walk down through the fields to the lake. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and nearby towns had excellent dinner options. A perfect escape from the bustle of the city and near spectacular hiking and gorgeous views. Five stars!

Peaceful and beautiful place

This is an absolutely lovely and serene farm. The accommodations are beautiful, the breakfast sublime, the hosts are warm and welcoming. The farm is lovely and a path is made through the fields to the lake below. Truly a unique, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend.

The views from the house are amazing. That supplied boots to walk the fields. We walked to the lake and on the way saw sheep, lambs, horses and donkeys . We even got to pet the donkeys! The breakfasts are also amazing!

Wonderful views, lovely walking paths through the fields to the water and near the very friendly donkeys. Chairs set up to view the quiet valley ... the entire property and house were very clean. private bedrooms, shared living room for casual reading . bathroom was small but functional , beds were comfortable.. host was very kind nice sized town wasn't far away for dinner or drinks.. Farmhouse Gem

The farmhouse was beautifully restored and the land picture perfect. We were able to walk through the fields to reach the lake. The proprietor stayed up late so we could get into our room and was very gracious. The breakfast was the very best of our two week stay in Ireland. The farm is near Wicklow Mountain National Park, another gem.

What an amazing and tranquil property! This was exactly what we had envisioned for our week long trip to Ireland and we were not disappointed. Clean, quiet, peaceful, friendly, safe….and a view that is unparalleled! what more could you want when you are traveling abroad? We spent a week in Ireland and made Abhainn Ri Farmhouse B&B our base to come home to each night. When we returned each evening we found the room exactly as it was when we arrived, clean and comfortable, ready for a good night’s rest! From the moment we arrived, we experienced such warmth and hospitality. The view from our garden suite was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a small fridge, plates, glasses, silverware and coffee machine---All the things you might need for a your stay. The homemade breakfasts were fantastic!! We have been to Ireland many times as my husband's family is from Co. Galway. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years, but this one was by far our absolute favorite. The surroundings and walk to the lake are gorgeous and the cute donkeys in the field showed us great hospitality too! 🥰 Options for restaurants are a short drive from the B&B and beautiful hiking and walking opportunities all around you. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle. We miss it already and just got home! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Jenny & Sean ♥️
