Great House and Area

We loved the home, the pool, grotto and water slide were a huge hit with the kids. It was a perfect location, centrally located and highly recommend the golf cart rental. The only issue we had was with the hot tub, they took great care of the pool throughout the week but were never able to get the hot tub working.

Homes Beach 70th Birthday with Family

Beautiful large family home, with lush landscaped pool area… waterfalls, slide, hot tub and nice seating. Great for our family! The house was cleaned before we arrived, but the floors were filthy. My grandchildren all take their shoes off when they come in, but their feet were covered with dirt by bedtime. The floors were NOT washed. The pool was not cleaned till Monday, two days after we arrived. As a pool owner it should have been vacuumed, not just net scooped. Each bathroom was supplied with only two (2) thin bath towels. Four (4) would really have been nice. The kitchen had loads of dishes and glasses, but only enough silverware for one meal. Two dishwashers should be in a home of this size, as we had to run the dishwasher after every meal.

45th wedding anniversary

We brought our children, their spouses and all 7 grandchildren together here for our anniversary. Everyone had a terrific time. House was great with everyone having their own space and meeting in kitchen where we had most of our meals was perfect. Pool couldn’t have been more used and loved. Walk to beach was a breeze with wagon full of chairs ready for us. Location was a residential feel surrounded by shops and restaurants in walkning distance. We loved this place!!!

Nice home

House was spacious and met all our needs. Several beds were not clean between the sheets. They immediately came and changed the linens. Guests need to understand the pool is very cool in cool temps although heated isn’t warm. The “hot tub” is a spa that does not reach warm temps until the sun hits it for hours in the late afternoon. It is not a jacuzzi or hot tub.

Great December getaway

We really loved the house and its location. Spacious and beautifully decorated, and so close to the beach and the Holmes beach restaurants— Freckled Fin, Hurricane Hank’s and the Feast were awesome and the Sun and Surf shop was great for souvenirs. We rented bikes and it was a fun ride up to get donuts and ice cream in Anna Maria. A few quibbles on the house— as others noted, the pool heater was not functioning properly and we only got to enjoy the spa once. Reach out immediately if it’s not warming up! Also, the kitchen is not that well equipped for cooking— plenty of dishes but short on gadgets and large utensils. A tea kettle and larger mugs would be nice! Also more outdoor furniture— lots of balconies but no place to sit and enjoy. Still, just quibbles, we loved it and even our finicky teens wanted to come back!

Great stay!

Property was beautiful, the pool and pool area were the highlight for us as that’s where we spent most of our time. I’ve read reviews about neighbors being an issue, we didn’t experience that and we have a rather loud group of adults. Location is convenient to everything. Small hiccup with checking in as the code to enter wasn’t correct, but called in and got the correct code quickly. Would definitely stay again

Great house for family trip

House was everything we were looking for. We had all of our kids & partners together for the first time in a long while and the house & pool was a great place to reconnect. Loved the old time Florida atmosphere of Anna Maria.

Lack of hot water and neighbors are very particular.

We did not have hot water for 5 of the 7 days and were constantly asking for someone to come and check the water heater. After calling every day until an electrician finally came out. The pool and spa also did not have hot/warm water which was disappointing for the kids. You must be VERY quiet in this house. The first night at 6:30pm while we were enjoying pizza by the pool the police were called because we were being too loud. We did not have music, were not intoxicated and not screaming. We understand being respectful but it seems as though people are sensitive to noise. The house is very nice with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms I wish I could rate it higher but because of us having issues nearly every day of our vacation I cannot give it more than two stars.

Great location with extremely short walks to the beach, shops, and nightlife. One word of advice: the walls upstairs don't block very much sound so best to relegate the children to the bunkbeds on the first floor ;)

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Our family had a wonderful time at Malibu Beach. With 8 Bedrooms and 7 Baths, it was perfect for our large family of 17. There are several balconies & a roof top deck that is perfect to be able to look out over the Island, the Bay and the Gulf. The Kitchen & Baths are so well stocked for a large family. There are plenty of large serving dishes, pots & pans, glasses, silverware & every utensil you could possibly want. There are lots of towels & beach towels available and with having 2 washer & dryer sets you will never run out. The gorgeous pool & outdoor living area is the best of any house that we have ever rented. Everyone in our family, from the age of 68 to 18 months thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful resort style area. The beach is a very short two block walk. Having a wagon to transport several beach chairs and umbrellas was so helpful. The beach is so beautiful & the water is so clean & such a pretty color of blue. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories! We look forward to renting this house again!

Loved It!

We had 16 adults for my 50th Birthday party. This house was perfect. Everyone felt they had their own space and privacy with the ample bedrooms and baths. The location was perfect too! Close to beach, trolley stop, etc. Also, AMI was great as everyone was coming from different directions so there were 3 airports to choose from. Highly recommend Malibu Beach! You won't be disappointed.

Awesome place to stay

This property is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in for vacation. The actual build of the property is excellent and it has everything you will need for a large group or family. The kitchen is competently stocked for a Chef and Everyone had their own bathrooms and the pool was super nice!!! Five stars for sure. Great stay

Location, location, location... great house at Holmes Beach

WOW… everyone in our large family couldn’t stop talking about this place and its perfect location. We had easy access to just about anything you want or need while on our vacation (i.e. beach, pool, restaurants, shops, stores, etc). We typically spent the morning at the beach and the afternoon/evening in the awesome private backyard in the pool. We had no issues with all 14 members of our family, with plenty of room. The beach access was only 1-2 blocks and our part of the beach was never crowded. We did have a few issues/questions during our stay but Andrea always responded immediately and got them all taken care of or answered for us quickly. We would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a perfect beach getaway. We will be back!

Fantastic home!

We had such a fabulous stay at this house! We loved so many things that it is hard to list them all. We loved the pool the most and probably spent the most of our vacation out there! The beach is so close and we enjoyed visiting that as well! The features that made it extra special was the 2 washer and dryers, the 2 fridges with 1 being downstairs, the water slide and the just overall feel of a beach house! We will definitely be back as it was paradise!

Great home-needs a few updates

Great home to accommodate our family. Very close to many restaurants, stores and beach. Dishwasher was broken during most of our stay and the ice maker did not work. Cable also did not work well. (big NBA Playoff fans) Andrea worked to repair as quickly as possible, but should only do what she could do. The home could use newer appliances.
