We had such a lovely week.

We had such a lovely week. The owners were very kind bring us eggs and potatoes. Sharing their local knowledge about were to eat.the animals were cute 😍 This is not a working farm and we were not woken by any noise. They had gone to great trouble setting things up for Halloween 🎃 Everything was lovely and clean the owners have a very high standard. The hot tub was great 👍 Thanks for a lovely stay Gary

Initially contacting Mr Hughes about key collection etc, he didn't get back to me.

Initially contacting Mr Hughes about key collection etc, he didn't get back to me. When l finally spoke to him he was rather abrupt....boarding rude. However when we arrived at the lodge he was ok.Negatives about the property:Definitely need a car to get to shops etc. Remember it's a working farm, so can be noisy at times. Mostly what you need for a comfortable stay just a few issues. Bath towels very small, more like hand towels, worn and quite hard, so an idea to take your own. Also bed linen although clean also worn. In the kitchen could have done with clothes to wipe around and only 1 tea towel. Positives about the property:Lovely big, clean lodge in picturesque surroundings. Mr Hughes rectified any minor problems we had on arrival. Welcome pack useful, fresh potatoes, eggs, milk and chocolate fingers. Comfortable furniture to sit on and beds. Lovely outside seating area and hot tub. Overall a very nice place to stay, had an enjoyable holiday.
