We love the location of the property & the ease of working with this company! The condo was perfect for our stay! The only complaint I would have is getting the suitcases up to the second floor in the phase 1 unit. Other than that, we enjoy having not only the ocean, but the beautiful garden on the inside! Lahiana Condo

Somewhat old property but it has most of the essential amenities. It is 20 yards from the waters edge, is almost fully furnished condo, and if you have a car, many shops and eateries are not too far away. Has a bathtub instead of a shower, and the TV works with effort. The price is right for this condo and we would stay there again.

Honokowai stay

View from deck is lovely. Enjoyed watching humpbacks with our morning coffee. Building and unit are showing their age. Stairs to the beach are all blocked off, must climb down rock wall to access the beach, would be nice if they would repaired them. Overall enjoyed our stay, the view is worth it.

Perfect Trip

We had the most wonderful time. The condo was perfect, had everything we needed - beach chairs, ice chest, plenty of towels, lots of fans. Amazing views - whales, turtles! Beach and pool were great for our 5 yo son. Awesome location - walk across the street for smoothies or fish tacos. A short walk to food trucks or a nicer dinner at Duke's. Dreaming of our return. Amazing Honey Moon Get Away

Amazing ocean view! I love the jungle feel in the courtyard garden walking up to the room and parking was never a problem. The place was overall really quiet and laid back. We cooked most of our meals and even though the kitchen is very small it worked well and the fridge/freezer was big enough for our two and a half week stay. The feel of the place is slightly outdated but because the ocean view is so dominating it is still happy and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place and would consider it on my next trip to Maui.

Breathtaking view from deck

Condo was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I cannot say enough about the view from the deck, gorgeous like a painting, almost unreal. Condo was in great location, short walk to grocery stores/take out restaurants and the famous beachwalk. Kitchen was great, microwave, blender, oven, cooktop, rice cooker, big fridge. bed very comfortable. Internet wasn't working but the property management company fixed it quickly and even left me a gift for the inconvenience. I would definately stay here again. Thank you!!

Relaxing Beachfront Escape

This unit was the perfect escape for the two of us. We found ourselves enjoying sitting beachside and on the lanai that we didn’t feel the need to venture too far every day. We watched every sunset from the balcony because we couldn’t imagine a better view. As some reviews mention, this is not a large unit but we found it perfect for two and would work for three or four people if willing to share space. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials and we even enjoyed some meals in. There are also several places nearby for inexpensive, but excellent takeout (we recommend the Maui Fish Market directly across the street, in particular). The condo is also within walking distance to the boardwalk of Ka’anapali Beach and a short drive south to Lahaina. We hope to come back in the future. It was the perfect place to find relaxation and quiet while still being near everything you want in West Maui. Until then, we will cherish our memories of watching the sunsets here and listening to the waves crash throughout the day.

This condo needs a thorough, deep cleaning

The condo needs a deep cleaning..There were areas thst hadn't been wiped down or dusted. Found long black hairs in bathtub. In lamp shades (really), tissues under bed, dirt on shelf under microwave, and dishes that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in the cupboard. We were offered a mid week cleaning on Sunday, but refused it since our personal items were unpacked and in every room. The cleanliness was a big problem for both of us.

Location, location, location

We got there at 1:00 AM. At first we were concerned about the neighborhood. The room had no A/C but lots of fans. It was small for a condo but we got used to it very quickly. I thought there was a washer/dryer in the room but there was one on the property on each floor. But when the sun came up over the Pacific, all of our concerns went away. The neighborhood was fine. The fans and the sea breeze kept the room cool. While the beach had washed away out front, a huge beach with few people was right next door. We were twelve minutes from Kapalua and twelve minutes from Lahaina. It was a perfect location. And, regardless of what I initially thought, it was a very safe location. I have never seen my wife have a more perfect vacation and neither have I.

15 days of awesome views!

The view from the lanai was spectacular! The property has just enough room for two adults. This unit has a beach umbrella that a bit old but still works. The bedroom is located right next to the hallway and has a window through it so occasionally we heard people talking as they walk down the hallway and woke us up in the middle of the night. The mattress was sinking in the middle and started making noise. The bathtub was old with stains. All the wine glasses was greasy and old that we had to wash them before using it. The management was very responsive that we had to request to change smelly shower curtain and a broken toilet seat. They were very quick fixing it. Overall, we enjoy the stay and the spectacular view but this unit needs to be updated in some areas. I’d like to thank the management team who were very helpful with our needs.

Amazing! Can’t wait to come back

This property was everything we needed and more. It’s clean, it’s beautiful and the views are amazing. Had coffee on the lanai every morning, and dinner. Watched the sunset every night from the lanai The property grounds are gorgeous. The place is so quiet and in the evening all you hear is the waves crashing. A lot complained about no ac in the unit. The trick to keeping this place cool, is closing the main window curtains during the day. There is plenty of fans and we had those going 24/7. We would close the curtains, leave the fans on and always came back to a cool place. You can also open the vent above the front door for air flow and the main bedroom window opens for airflow. No complaints at all. It was perfect! The first night we slept in the bedroom but we couldn’t hear the waves, so the rest of the trip we slept on the couch pull out bed. It wasn’t as comfortable as the main bedroom, but I slept like a queen thanks to the ocean sound. You can’t go wrong with this place. If it’s just two of you, this is your place. We can’t wait to come back. Parking was easy, the front desk staff was friendly and the communication between us and the property management was amazing. It has a full coffee pot and not those pod crap things. Seriously, I loved this place. There is a cute park next door and we could walk to many places for food, or a drink etc…kitchen is well stocked with items to cook, we never used the bbq or pool area but those were lovely as well. If you’re needing a quiet, relaxing, amazing views, this is your place. We can’t wait to return Mahalo!

Overall, this is a 2-star unit in a 2-star hotel. The best, and unfortunately, only good thing about this unit is the view, which is spectacular. By far, the best part of staying here was being able to sit on the lanai and watch whales and sunsets. The view is so nice that we'd planned on going whale-watching a second time (we went once our first week, when we were staying at another resort), but because whale-watching from the lanai was so great, there was no need to go on a boat again. Having said that, there are many downsides to this unit. Before listing them off for future potential renters, I have to say that the property management group (Maui Paradise Properties) was excellent. Everything that I list as being missing from the unit, they brought over to us the next day. I also feel bad saying anything negative about the unit because it's clear the owner has fixed / replaced some things. The kitchen, for instance, has decent appliances and black granite countertops. But the unit needs a good thorough cleaning, not the hotel-style wipe-down that rental properties get. Now, the many downsides: - This unit needs MUCH more frequent bug spraying - the ant problem was severe. I know that everyone will say that ants are everywhere in Maui, and we know that, we've been there many times. But this was terrible. There were ants everywhere - in the kitchen, in the beds, shower, crawling on our dinner plates while we were eating (indoors), etc. We asked for and were brought ant spray, and we used almost the whole large can over the 3 weeks we were there; we had to spray once or twice a week to keep things bearable. We also had to ask for: - dish towels: we were only left 1 dish towel and 2 face cloths (in the kitchen) for a 3 week stay - bath towels: we were only left 2 (i.e. 1 each), 2 face cloths and 2 hand towels. i mean i know we're expected to do laundry, but that's ridiculous - oven mitts: there were none provided - placemats: none provided; we ate our first hot meal on magazines - We bought and installed a mattress cover from Amazon because we couldn't get through the night without being bitten. I also woke up every morning with a strange rash on my legs. There were also a million little flies dive-bombing us while in bed. Can't blame the unit for that, I think it was just the time of year.

Very Comfortable oceanfront condo

Was small but adequate for my husband and I. Would be a little tight for 2 couples. Needs more light in livingroom for reading. One floor lamp with low light bulb is not enough in the evening. Other than that, it was comfortable. Fantastic view from patio.. Would definitely stay there again.
