「Loved the place. Surrounded by palms and birds singing. They brought continental breakfast to my room each morning. Loved the wood burning stove. You definitely need a car to stay here. One of my favorites, in this three week trip」

「House is in quiet place, full of nature. I received a really big house, fine in the appearance, very clean and completely fournished. Comfort was at top and all was working perfectly. Also garden an swimming pool were very good. Host was really polite and full of attention, providing an appetizing breakfast. If obly also some vegetables had been added, no possibility of improvement woulf have left! Perhaps a car to reach is needed, but it is strongly recommended for a comfortably full immersion...

「Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung des alten Hauses wurde hervorragend renoviert und die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der angrenzende Garten mit tropischen Früchten wurde uns vom Besitzer liebevoll vorgestellt. Der Standort ist perfekt, um mal eben nach Horta reinzufahren (wir hatten einen Scooter gemietet) oder die Insel zu erkunden. Nachts ist es fantastisch still und von der Terasse kann man die Sterne zählen.」

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, viele Gerichte wurden von der Besitzerin selbst zubereitet, unter Verwendung von Lebensmitteln aus ihrem eigenen Haushalt (wie Eier, Orangen, Joghurt usw.). Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und bot einen herrlichen Blick auf den Garten. Alles im Zimmer war sehr sauber, und unsere Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt, obwohl es nicht notwendig war. 「We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial.」

「Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit großzügigem Außenbereich samt Sommerküche. Der Vermieter ist sichtlich bemüht, die Dinge auf Stand zu halten, alles in ordentlichem Zustand. Das Haus liegt relativ einsam, ist aber durch neue gute Straßen gut angebunden (Horta bzw. Caldeira halbe Stunde, Capelinhos Katzensprung). Pizzeria in Gehweite, Einkaufsmöglichkeit besser mit Auto (5 Min). Übernahme und Abreise freundlich und problemlos.」

「Skønt ældre hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed i Horta og udsigt over havnen. Værelserne er ganske fine med en god seng og badeværelse. God og venlig betjening i receptionen som gav os en tidlig indcheckning. God morgenmad. Eneste negative ting var at døren til vores altan ikke kunne lukkes ordentligt så vi var generet af den kraftige vind da vi skulle sove, samt at rengøringen larmede i længere tid udenfor vores værelse. Alt i alt et skønt hotel med value for money og vi vil bestemt komme her...

「Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt.es war sauber und ordentlich, das Hotel ist halt noch etwas 90er vom Stil/Einrichtung und könnte mal ein Update gebrauchen.」
