Welcome to this cheerful and inviting 2-bedroom, 1-bath upstairs apartment in a classic 1930s duplex. Located in the rear building, this bright and comfortable space features an open-concept living area, a mid-century armchair perfect for relaxing or planning your adventures, and a private courtyard ideal for family meals or quiet evenings.

Just minutes away from the Texas Medical Center, NRG Stadium, Montrose and Museum District, it's a great home base for exploring Houston.

Nice, clean apartment close to medical centers

We came from out of state for a medical procedure by a specialist not available where we live. The apartment is close to to St. Luke's and is an easy rideshare each way. It was an excellent stay with a few small things that I would rate as "needs attention."The kitchen is well stocked for two as long as you keep up with the dishes. The freezer needs defrosting, and we did have some produce freeze in the back of the fridge. It did have an excellent starter supply of coffee pods and dish /dishwasher soap.The wifi was great for the first few days but was a bit spotty after that. They have two networks that you can connect to, and when there were issues it was usually resolved within 30 min. Passwords included with check in instructions. The bathroom is spacious and well stocked, with more than enough towels for two of us for a week. The tub has some cosmetic issues but functioned well.The bedrooms have excellent mattresses, and each has its own tv. The bedding is excellent with several pillow firmness options. There is no closet light! I would add battery-operated touch lights.We did have one hiccup. A "water bug" made an appearance toward the end of the stay. (If you're not from Houston, look it up-apparently they're common and get in through open doors.)They are quite disconcerting if you're not familiar. The communication from the hosts about it was excellent, and they said they treat for pests regularly.Overall I would book again and they get 5 stars from me.
