This was a fun place! If you have a group, hanging outdoors by the pool and common spaces would have been a blast. The bar was closed, which was a surprise, but you could BYOB. Friendly staff.

Rooms were beautiful. Random bugs from outside kept getting in, beetles, small flys, etc. Room was clean, bathroom tub was clogged kind of. 9/10 would definitely stay here again.

They announced my room number out loud when I was Checking in, they don’t offer Breakfast that they said they did, bar is closed unlike they offer, room is dingy but after you clean it yourself it’s fine, pool is ok except canopy is older, but the way they tried to design the property is cute. Told front desk about issues and pretty much got told sorry it will be better next time. Day shift is pretty nice for the most part.

The hotel Was nice had no compliant about the room until we discovered the tub had no drain and tha bathroom light went out. Also blasting music in the courtyard starting at 11 am with no people is wild.

Had a booking error made on my part and the young lady working the front desk was very rude and dismissive about the situation and actually locked us out of our room and I asked if we could reenter she told me no and I told her we had our service dog inside and then she said we could go back in to retrieve the dog and that we only had until 3:00 p.m. to resolve the issue or we would be locked out again. We were treated as if we were freeloaders and not as someone who simply made a small booking error.

Nice hotel

Loved staying here. It was affordable and easy to get to. If you have any issues management will fix it quickly. Right next to public transportation too. If I’m in Houston again this is the where I would stay.

Rating: 3.7 Check-in was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised to recognize the hotel manager from our time living in HTX—such a friendly face to kick off our stay. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs. Our first room was super cute and exactly as described, but we ran into two issues: a shower that didn’t drain well (standing in your own shower water isn’t ideal) and, unfortunately, spotting a small roach. Not the big tree roaches you occasionally see in Texas, but the tiny ones—the kind that let you know there are more around. We stomped the first one and reported both issues to the front desk. To their credit, maintenance came quickly to fix the shower. But later that night we saw another small roach, and at that point, it was a firm nope from us. The front desk staff was very apologetic and quickly moved us to another room. From there, the rest of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The pool area was lively, full of hotel guests, with music bumpin’ and great vibes all around. Definitely the spot if you’re looking for a good time without ever having to leave the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back—but the hotel absolutely needs to address the roach issue. That’s the only thing holding this back from being an easy 5-star experience.

Rooms here are not fully finished. Both our rooms had no towel bars, toilet tissue holder, hangers, luggage rack or closet. No coffee maker though I was told we’d have one. Had to ask many times for things we requested. No restaurant that is advertised on their site. Closed a while ago apparently. Not a great area either.

This is the cutest little hotel, and the staff were exceptional. I was there and although I did not request housekeeping services, they emptied my trash can, provided clean towels and even made my bed....and my day! And the Space Cowboy bar is casual and fun with good pours. Stayed for business and will definitely be back!
