The hotel is beautiful to walk into, smells great, and has friendly staff - especially the kitchen staff. The room was clean and spacious with a view to the front of the hotel where the water Unfortunately there were some things that kept me from giving the fifth star. To start off, 1) don’t call the front desk from your room phone, they will not pick up even if someone is standing at the front desk working. When I walked to the front desk, I asked, “Do the room phones operate correctly? Do they actually call the front desk?” The attendant said yes they do so I informed him that I have been calling for the past 5 minutes. His only response was “oh, I’ve been here, sorry about that.” 2) We traveled while it was raining, and we had a room on the second floor… there was water dripping in from the SEALED window. We put a towel under it since it was not a fast leak and we were only there for the weekend. 3) They hosted a high school prom the weekend of our stay and post prom, teenagers had rooms booked in the hotel! That was insane to me, as well as the constant running and screaming they were doing around the halls. 4)Lastly, Sunday morning came around, looking to sleep in from a busy weekend… they were playing music so loudly in the lobby that you could hear it and feel the bass in our second floor room at 8am sharp. What truly saved this review was the kitchen staff. They were all so courteous and pleasant, not like the other staff there. The hotel should really thank them.

Unfortunately we did not have breakfast at the hotel, it's not that didn't want to, we woke up too late and had to rush to get to where we needed to go on time on Saturday. On Sunday morning, we left early before breakfast started to drive home.

Very nice place to spend one night. Our room was clean, appropriate for a one-night stand. However, it took 3 to 5 minutes to get hot water in the bathroom. The pillows were very soft, and after a while it became uncomfortable.

I was very annoyed that common sense didn’t take precedence over technicality. My name was misspelled by expedia but, I presented proof of reservation, showed the transaction from my checking account, photo id and they finally needed to see an email with the mispelled/shortened name to honor my reservation. Upon entering the room, the very first thing I laid eyes on was this dark shadow on the bathroom floor; after turning on the light, I see that it’s shoe print from either polish or dye. Very unsightly. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t have replaced those tiles or floor. The room carpet was a dark color but, I could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Two bed room, one plastic laundry bag. The antiquated toiletry size annoyed me; those toy bottles aren’t enough for one person. Do they not know that we’re expecting full size toiletries in the shower now? Speaking of the shower, they actually have a sign posted informing that; you have to allow the water to run at least 5 minutes to warm up but, when it does, there’s hardly any water pressure. There’s no deodorizer used in the towels they didn’t have a fresh scent. If it hadn’t been for the fact that were only stayin overnight I would have taken that loss ( no cancellations ) and went elsewhere. The only reason I gave three stars is for the ambiance leading to the room, valet service and the check out person was very sweet. They need to do better.!!!
