Grill out and take in nature like never before. Just a short walk(2 min)down our private road brings you to the waterfront to enjoy a stunning sunset and fising on the pier. This home is perfect for a weekend getaway or just getting away from city life. Tranquility and relaxation await, all within 20 minutes of downtown Houston!

The Retreat is crafted to be an adventure away from the big city. Play ping pong with your family and friends, enjoy an old school arcade matchup, enjoy the card games, grill out, or simply walk down to waterfront and enjoy time on the fishing pier. The choice is yours on how to enjoy when you set your bags down at our beautiful vacation home!

Check in was easy. Description wasn't completely accurate. No firepit, couch broken, refrigerator smelled like fish, place had roaches. After I complained I was asked to leave 1145 pm

Fell short of expectations

Air conditioning was amazing and kept up well with an extremely hot Texas week. Game tables were very fun and appliances worked well. The house met our basic needs. Host was very responsive when a bed was missing. Room for (sometimes major) improvements: -Had to ask for access to house even after check in time. Thankfully, host responded within 15 minutes. -The flooring is coming up in multiple places. Really pretty dangerous. -While house sleeps 8, there are not enough place settings or tableware for 8. This presented a challenge for us, as well as not having any area available for 8 people to sit comfortably together (to eat or in a common area). No blender as mentioned (we did not need but definitely missing from the listed appliances in the description). -The house description was misleading…while there was access to waterfront technically, there was no real ability to swim or use without bringing your own boat or kayak, etc.. Additionally the advertised pier was incredibly dilapidated. Extremely unsafe to try to walk on. I would not call the house “luxurious”. -We would definitely recommend adding space to hang towels after bathing, especially with no washer or dryer available.

Houston girls trip

The property was a nice place but the mosquitoes on the outside of the property attacked us every time we went outside. Even in the daylight. The wifi was not available at all. Other than that the stay was nice.

Quaint Home w/ everything Needed for Family Fun

Aside from several issues with the lockbox entry key (auto), our stay was very Nice. The property has been renovated very well, the rooms were cool and the bathrooms were super nice, especially Master Shower. Additionally the kitchen and living areas were perfect for family game/movie nights. The property is fenced in, which gives great privacy and helps with feeling safe. We didn’t utilize the water front access but would recommend doing so, we did take a look and it seems like great place to fish. Overall Good stay and would consider returning for any family trips to the area, short drive to Kemah and not far from downtown Houston.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful and nicely appointed home exactly as pictured. Very spacious, was more than enough room for us. Conveniently located close to the highway and just 20-30inutes to Houston. Alexandra was very hospitable and a great communicator. We had a snafu with using the keyless entry (that was on us! 😩) but she graciously gave us a key.
