The Royal Kona building, they need to do real maintenance to this resort and stop patching the problems. Spend some money. This place has the potential to hold its old hawaii feel. Its a Gem of a place. and the The current kitchen staff are making exceptional quality food. Thank you all !"

"Unfortunately the air conditioner was not working. We were offered a portable air conditioner, which is unacceptable. We changed to the only other room that was offered to us which was on the first floor off the parking lot. Room was very noisy and we heard banging and car doors closing all night. We were also across from the laundry room which was also noisy. "

"We would definitely stay here again! We loved it!! The host and property managers were wonderful to work with. They were so understanding and responded right away to any questions or concerns. They gave clear instructions and information for how to check-in and what to do when checking out. The home was amazing!! It was so clean and beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessary needs. The rooms were all spotless and well furnished. The yard and property were gorgeous and well maintained. We loved having an ocean view, the sunsets were incredible!! It was such a relaxing and peaceful stay, so much better than going to a hotel or resort. "

"We loved our stay! The place is charming and Sandra is a great host who goes above and beyond. We enjoyed the location very much, although road noise on Hina Lani (nearby) has increased over the years. The property would work a little better for a family than two couples, since the indoor spaces are mostly shared. It worked fine overall, though, and we definitely recommend this lovely property. "

"My family was there to spread my husbands ashes, and this house made it possible for us all to stay in one place! The Kona Low storms had caused some issues with the internet, but the homeowner was quick to get the issue resolved for us. The only thing that was awkward was I was in the Ohana Bedroom, and my son and daughter in law were in the Makai bedroom, and for me to go upstairs in the morning, I had to pass through their room. I could go out and back in the front door without that, but that was awkward, also. The big added bonus was that there were turkeys that roam up and down the street and we thouroughly enjoyd watching them! It was all in all an excellent time had by all in the home!"
