"A clean and well-equipped property in a small spa town. With hindsight, possibly not the best overall location for a family break but we had a good time - Bad Bertrich is more of a recuperation venue and hiking stop. Highlights included a trip to Trier and an afternoon at a crater lake. Lots of beautiful scenery too!"

"The holiday home is very nice, it's got everything you'll need and it's also clean and modern. Kitchen has refridgerator and oven. Living has nice couch, tv with dvd. Bedrooms have cupboards and nice beds. With 1.85m I could still fit in the shower. But what's best with this holiday home is the garden with the pool AND the lovely owners who always help you and with who you can have nice conversations with! I would recommend this stay!"

"Beautifully furnished ground floor accommodation with everything you might need. Owner was friendly and helpful and spoke enough English to communicate with us (we speak very little german). The view of the castle is impressive from the decking. The castle is worth a visit and there are very good waymarked paths which go through Alken. The village is a very short walk where there are nice restaurants and a few shops including a small supermarket and a bakery. Cochem is a bigger town with lots...

"Soms kom je in een accomodatie waar werkelijk alles mooi en goed doordacht is en waar je nergens iets kunt bedenken wat je mist. Dat samen met de sublieme ligging, de goede communicatie van het boekingsburo en de zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke eigenaar zorgen voor een terechte titel bij deze waardering: Prefect!"
