The hotel is new and the amenities are nice. The coffee in the lobby is fantastic (but they should provide lids for the cups). However, upon checking in, we were not told maid service would not be provided (we were there for three nights). We understand COVID has impacted maid service, but would have appreciated being told what to expect.
We saw ants on the bathroom counter and around the refrigerator. The refrigerator still had someone else’s leftovers in it. There wasn’t much toilet paper on the holders and we had to request another roll on our way back from dinner (the first night). There is soap and shampoo containers on the shower wall, but all I got was one pump from the soap dispenser and then it was out of soap. Thankfully I had some soap from a previous hotel stay still packed in my toiletry bag and my husband was able to hand that to me. We also ran out of tissues immediately.
Service is an important part of a hotel stay; unfortunately they have some work to do.
