「Several touches are included to help us navigate in the house, e.g. labels in kitchen cabinets and map to a short walk to see sea lions :-) We found everything clean and organized, thank you. However, one big problem occured after dinner: guest had to queue for shower since only one was available.」

「This is the standard of a general hotel, but it has no characteristics. There is no problem with receptionist service, but the computer system needs improvement. We paid for the room when we made the reservation, but they said no, it took a long time to find the payment record. The next day when we checked out, another staff member asked us to pay again. Take some time to explain and check again.」

「This was, by far, the BEST place we stayed in all of Iceland on our 30-day visit where we booked 7 different hotels. We basically had the most beautiful 2-bedroom house to ourselves and the cost was unbelievably cheap. We stayed only 2 nights and if I had to do it again, I would have skipped the 3 day hotel in Akureyri and just traveled from here. 「One night stay with our friends, we stayed in cabin 11 newly renovated and it was very nice, clean and all amenities. Each of us had a bedroom and very comfy. Lounge living area good size for four adults. There is a outdoor patio but to cold for us to sit outside. They had black out curtains which was great, first place on our trip that actually had them and thought of the comfort of their guests. Breakfast included and location quiet. Wifi nice and strong.」
