「This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights...

「House was clean and looks amazing」

「Amazing views and an amazing space. Huge and comfortable home with all the amenities, close to the best spa in Iceland and the beautiful city of Akureyri. Owner was very responsive and accommodating and hot tub was an added luxury that was well appreciated. Overall an excellent stay, very highly recommend for any kind of weather or adventure.」

「Clean modern cabin in an isolated setting yet close enough to Husavik and Myvatn lake. I have an interest in farming and tending animals in the unique setting of iceland. The owners went out of their way to answer all my questions about their sheep farm, the cost of energy, and more. Very welcoming and friendly people. 」

"This was a very unpleasant experience. I had booked accommodation from March 31st to April 2nd, but on March 30th, I found out that the road to Mývatn was closed. I immediately contacted the hotel and other hotels to inquire about the possibility of a refund. When I confirmed again on March 31st, I discovered that the road to Mývatn was completely closed. However, the hotel insisted that it was the consumer's responsibility and refused to refund. I believe that in such a case of a natural disaster preventing travel, it is unfair to blame the consumer. This situation makes the accommodation unsuitable for staying."
