Room was ok, but lighting was poor and why do they put towels on the bed - no one needs a towel in the bedroom and it's irritating getting out of the shower and realising the towel isn't within reach! Gym is well stocked with good kit. Very busy and a bit cramped. Food in the restaurant is good but pricey. House salad with chicken £20 and very small. The football was being shown on the big screen and although the bar area didn't seem to have anyone watching, the volume was well over the top loud. The welcome staff were really very good. Very helpful and friendly. Overall it's an 'OK' hotel but could do with a few tweaks to make it better.

The place to stay in Hyde

Staff are great, always friendly and very helpful. Hotel is nice and clean with plenty of free parking. I stay here a fair bit when visiting Hyde.

Hyde visit

Check in and out was very easy however check in at 3pm and check out at 11am felt rather short. Room was ok but no AC which meant it was quite hot and had to open the window but the noise outside wasn’t great for a good nights sleep. No fridge either which seems a given in most hotels these days. Room was clean and the bed was very large and comfortable with charging points for devices. In summary a budget room at a budget price but no frills.

Ok value.

It was ok for a Village hotel, great amenities for the price so it’s good value. However, shower was shocking with lack of pressure and the paint job in the bathroom was not finished, along with one light out.
