"The property is right on the beach and the rooms have a beautiful view. They have a nice hot bath for men and women. The food is amazing and the presentation of the food is also wonderful. Wonderful customer service. Be aware their English in this area of Japan is not the best."

"鳴子温泉郷の中でも400年以上の歴史を持つ最古級の温泉宿です。なので古い旅館なのだろうと思い訪れましたが、リノベーションしとても綺麗。施設自体は古いながらも丁寧に営業されている感じが伝わり、とても気持ちの良い滞在となりました。スタッフの方も皆さんとても丁寧で親切、質問した際も非常に温かく対応していただけました。
温泉は源泉掛け流し４種類の泉質があり、それぞれ個室でフロントに鍵があり自由に使えるようになっています。同じ１つの旅館内で色々湯めぐり出来るのはとても贅沢、そして貸し切りなので他の方を気にせずゆったり出来た時間は最高でした♪...

Japanese style room was lovely.
Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable.
Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options.
