Secluded Cozy Cottage: Walk to Town, Private

The "Cozy Cottage" is a charming home nestled in the woods of Idyllwild, CA. This home has 2 bedrooms, a loft, and 1 bathroom with a washer and dryer. The loft, located above the living room, is great for extra storage during longer stays. Both bedrooms are furnished with queen-sized beds. This home is perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful family retreat. The spacious deck is perfect for entertaining and stargazing during the summertime. The property also offers a large area for children to run and play. In the winter, guests can enjoy building sled runs and snowmen. Guests are welcome to explore the property and create their own nature walks, or take a short walk to town.

This vacation rental is NOT equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

- Parking: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 001346

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
