“We were uncertain we were at the right property as it is quite remote. We were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful, clean and modern the room was. Good breakfast was provided with variety and whole food. Too cold for the pool but it was clean. Closer to Porto Covo than Sines”

“The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!”

“Disappointing. We did not get what we booked and paid for. The room description was for one of the larger rooms with a sofa chair, and a bathtub. Pictures also showed a balcony/deck area. Our room was tiny, no chair, no deck and no bathtub. Being 7 months pregnant I was very much looking forward to soaking in the tub so I was quite disappointed when our room only had a shower. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, and it was so hard my husband and I both woke up……

“Nice hotel with large rooms. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. We stayed here on the way to Lisbon from the Algarve. Sines is an industrial port city. I’d recommend staying in another city. We drove around the city a bit before checking and that was all. That’s the reason for the four star rating rather than five. ”

“It’s in the country. If you want to be surrounded by nature, serenity and great hospitality this is the place for you. There’s a tennis court and a pool. Bed was very comfortable and there is a small patio off all rooms. No TV in the room but they have a common area with a TV that you can watch. You must have a car for this rural setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ”

“There is a very unpleasant smell in the apartment- that made us limit out time in the apartment and it was quite unpleasant - except to sleep. It was making me feel a bit sick to my stomach- maybe sewer? Also- the heat in one bedroom was not working so it was quite cold in the main part of the apartment because we had to wheel the portable heater into that room to stay warm. Kitchen was limited on what was available- but we ended up eating out, anyway. Not the best stay.”
