The Villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful! Caterina and her family members were the most gracious hosts. They could not do enough to make sure we had a "once in a lifetime" multi-generational family trip and truly made us feel like part of their family during our stay. We loved every second of our time in Tuscany and would highly recommend this amazing property.

My group of 12 friends/6 couples just completed an incredible week at Cate’s family’s Villa. Everything about our stay was wonderful! The views are amazing and the photos don’t do the Villa and the grounds justice. We appreciated having ensuite bathrooms and the rooms were spacious. The common space was lovely whether indoors or outdoors. There was plenty of space for us to spread out as a group or if we wanted some quiet time. The Villa was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Most importantly, Cate was a generous and welcoming host. She arranged several excursions for us (bike ride, wine tasting,etc) provided excellent dinner recommendations and made reservations for our large group. I highly recommend this Villa for an experience beyond compare with a host and her family who all go above & beyond. Book your trip & stay here.

Amazing experience!

The villa is absolutely stunning & our stay was an amazing experience. We had a small wedding ceremony with our guests followed by a home cooked Italian dinner which was the most perfect evening. Cate & her family were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Cate made our stay stress-free and was more than happy to help organise anything we may have needed for our stay. I can’t wait to stay again

Wonderful Home and Host

Cate was an incredible host and the property was magnificent. The pool was perfect for keeping us cool on hot summer days and the homemade dinner and pizza meals were delicious! If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the florentine countryside there is no better option than this. Thank you Cate and your entire family for making our stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful Winter Stay

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in Tuscany at Caterina’s family villa. While I am sure the summer is wonderful, we loved the smaller crowds and relaxed pace in the winter. Caterina provided excellent advice and coordinated some great activities. Her villa is a true “find”.

The property has one of the most amazing views you could ever ask for. It is extremely clean, the pool is amazing, and it has the most attentive host our family has ever had at a property. Cate was attentive to everything we asked for, and made sure our stay was amazing. I highly recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thanks for a great vacation!

What an AMAZING home and wonderful trip.

Caterina and her family hosted us and made our trip unbelievable! They helped with transportation, travel ideas, and also prepared home cooked amazing meals in the villa, including two 4 course dinners and an amazing pizza night in the homes built in pizza oven. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I’d definitely stay at this wonderful home again! Thank you Cate!

Wonderful villa, wonderful hosts

A great place for 13 women- family and friends- to gather and explore Tuscany from. It was an easy drive to Florence and to the Chianti villages and wineries, and the villa and grounds provided a lovely place to rest between the touring. Cate and her family were amazing, the activities and dinners were wonderful, the cool salt water pool was refreshing. Our entire group was very happy and we all highly recommend! :)

Tuscan Holiday

Our sibling family of 7 from the US had an amazing stay at Villa Fabbiole in Imprunetta. Catherine Porzio, our host, was gracious & accommodating from the moment we booked our reservation and throughout our stay. Her gorgeous villa was like a step back in time and was an inviting retreat after sightseeing and navigating the busy narrow, winding roads! Trip of a lifetime

I can’t begin to describe how amazing this trip was. Cate was the most amazing host. She arranged so many events, dinners, transportation that made our trip seamless. Her sister was also very helpful. We did pizza making, florentine steak dinner, and pasta making which were all great. Valentina was our guide for pasta and pizza. The villa was perfect for our group of eight.

Spectacular stay

There are not enough words to accurately describe our fantastic stay! Group of 4 couples traveling. Cate could not have been nicer and more accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed several home cooked meals from her sister and mom.they were both adorable and the food was delicious comparable if not better than the restaurants we visited, The villa is beautiful we loved all the sitting area and the pool was great!! Have traveled in large groups several times and by far this was the best experience we've had. Cate made our week in Tuscany!!!!!!!!

Friends on Italian vacation!

Our group of 10 just checked out of the villa today. Five couples from the USA and we were all extremely pleased with our accommodations and time spent in the region of Impruneta. Our hostess, Caterina and her family were responsive to every question whether it was local restaurants, local tours of pottery, specific Florence Shopping options, parking or train schedules. We utilized almost every area of the Villa specifically the clean and refreshing swimming pool, ping pong table and well equipped kitchen. We planned far in advance and so glad we chose this villa carefully because it was worth the wait! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home for a week we will not forget.

Tuscany Dream Villa

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at this Italian gem located in Impruneta! The house itself had such a beautiful old Italian feel with all the modern comforts needed to make your stay perfect. The pool, the various outdoor dining and sitting areas allowed us to be totally emerged in the Tuscany hills. What truly makes this place special is Caterina! She did so much to be sure our first visit to Tuscany was just what we were wanting. She communicated with us well before our actual trip and all throughout. Cate booked all of our transfers, Tuscany excursions and arranged for a delicious home cooked Italian dinner right at the Villa! Our only mistake is that we didn’t stay longer.

Fantastic Tailored Tuscan experience

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely villa. We were a group of two families with four adults and four kids ages 5 to 13. Cate, the hostess, was extremely attentive and helped us arrange various activities during our stay. She helped us arrange a cooking class at the villa, a bike tour through Chianti region with a private wine tasting, and a chef cooking a Thanksgiving meal for us (we opted for Tuscan - not American food). We also got to tour a working olive mill. In addition, upon hearing that our flight was changed and we had to leave at 4am, Cate delivered pastries to us from a local bakery the day prior so we would have something to eat on our drive to the airport. The house and the grounds were beautiful. My only regret is that we did not have more time to enjoy them! We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and stay there again ourselves!

Wonderful week

Just left the villa after 1 week with my wife and 3 couples after a great week at the villa. It is conveniently located about 20 minutes by car from Florence. The property is beautiful and the villa was charming. So many places to relax in with comfortable couches to relax after a long day of touring.bedrooms were large and all about the same size which we find important as each couple had a nice room with en suite bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to prepare our meals. The best thing about the property is Caterina, the host and owner. She is truly available 24/7 and did EVERYTHING to make the stay wonderful.She gave us great advice on activities and made recommendations and reservations for dinners for us. We had a delicious in the villa prepared by her sister Cecilia one evening. Overall one of the best rental experiences I have ever had.

Incredible vacation!

This was my second stay at Caterina’s beautiful villa and this time I brought my family I cannot express in words how truly amazing this villa is and how incredibly hard working and kind Caterina and her family are From making dinner reservations to organizing drivers to winery reservations to planning entire days for us, she did it all. The home is immaculately clean, spacious enough for families, convenient to Florence and Sienna and many other villages in Tuscany Imprunetana is a 25 minute walk into town where you can find restaurants and shops. We also had an absolutely delightful cooking class which Cate also planned for us Fantastic! We stayed at the villa for 10 days and wish we could have stayed for month! Maybe next time we will. This villa will not disappoint and we consider Caterina a friend and cannot wait to come back

Gorgeous Tuscany

If you are looking for a spacious house, lovingly maintained and cared for by the family that owns it, and an unbeatable view of the Tuscany hills, this is the place. The home has been owned by Caterina's family for many years and pride of ownership shows. There is plenty of space for everyone - 5 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, plenty of seating inside and out for gathering with your family and friends. Our group of 4 couples enjoyed coffee on the terrace every morning and wine in the late afternoon. The villa is in a perfect location to enjoy day trips to the surrounding area. Caterina is a perfect host. She was available to answer our many questions before we even arrived and also during our stay. She helped arrange transportation and tours. We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful villa.

Exceeded all our expectations!

I rented the villa to celebrate my fortieth birthday with my husband and three other couples (longtime friends). We could not have been more excited and impressed by the property! It is a family property that has been meticulously updated. The pool is a dream. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed grilling and making meals. One night, we booked a meal made in the villa (by Caterina’s sister) and it was absolutely delicious - homemade pasta, prosciutto, wine, pork, the works! And the best dessert we had on the whole trip. So easy to get into Florence and the communication was second to none. Caterina’s wonderful mom even brought us some beautiful pastries for breakfast one morning. We also had plenty of privacy - the perfect balance. I genuinely can’t think of a single complaint. I’m hoping to go back!!!!

Relax in Tuscany!

My wife and two children ages 10 and 13 enjoyed three restful nights at Cate's Wonderful family property. Comfortable bedrooms, quiet surroundings, plenty of shade and a refreshing pool Helped us enjoy the Tuscan countryside and rejuvenate our bodies as we overcame jet lag from our first Italian vacation as a family We enjoyed a wonderful cooking class with Chef Valentina! We had a wonderful meal prepared upon our arrival at the Villa as well! We took the short walk to town on two separate evenings for gelato and pizza… It was amazing! Can't say enough about our host. Cate!!!! You were awesome. Anything we needed, you were willing and able to provide. We can't wait to come back again and stay longer. We feel like we just scratched the surface of this beautiful part of Tuscany and the villa was perfect for our families needs. Caio!!

Our Dream Trip

WOW! What a wonderful week we had in our Tuscan Villa. It is a truly beautiful place. This was a trip for the “girls” of our family and we couldn’t have been happier. 5 bedrooms, each with en-suite, was the perfect size for the 5 of us. Lovely Cate helped us plan our trip making arrangements for each day. She made it so easy, with lots of suggestions from which to choose, and making the arrangements for us. From the pasta making class, the Tuscan dinner, trips into Florence and San Gimignano, wine tasting, it all was great. The views from the villa are amazing. Just what you imagine when you think of Italy. This is a family affair which makes it so personal. Thank you Cate, Angela, Cecilia, and Paolo.

Simply PERFECTION!

I have traveled all over the world and I have never had such a beautiful experience! This villa was not only stunning and immaculate but every room had a very sizable bathroom which meant everyone had ample space to be comfortable. The owners, Cate and her family were so kind and loving. They made every detail of the trip perfect. They made every transfer and scheduled all the activities. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind and we all loved the wine tasting and pasta class the best! Cate was in instant communication with us at all times and allowed us to just relax knowing everything would be perfect. The villa is perfectly appointed with many different sitting areas so multiple families would be comfortable here. I can’t wait to come back! 5star experience! The pictures do not even do it justice!

Wonderful 2 week stay with Friends

Thank you so much Caterina and Cecelia for a truly wonderful stay at your family’s villa. There were 11 of us and we are all so grateful for the many things you arranged for us from private transfers and tours to meals, dinner reservations, and the tour of the terra-cotta workshop. When there were problems, you took care of them as quickly as possible, and went above and beyond to make things right. You couldn’t have been kinder or more flexible when we made changes and we made many! The pizza dinner and home cooked Tuscan meal were wonderful! Cecelia is a fabulous cook! Our favorite activities were the wineries and seeing the small Tuscan hill towns. It would’ve been very difficult to see them without the private drivers you arranged. We also appreciated having a car to go into town, and the tram into Florence was very easy to get to and use. We so appreciate how hard you worked to make everything perfect! Your kindness and help with everything were so appreciated!

Tuscan Perfection

Have you ever felt that you were at home when you knew you weren't ? That's the feeling we had when we stayed with Cate at her family home for two weeks. The property is absolutely exquisite. Every view is a painted picture. The house has lots of nooks and crannies for people to just relax. And her family was there at a moments notice if we needed anything. Cecilia, Cate sister is a spectacular chef, We ordered breakfast every morning and it was set up beautifully and certainly had more food than we could even consider consuming. It Included homemade pastries that she and her mother made.She made us dinner on a few nights and the food was spectacular. The entire family works hard to make sure that every detail is taken care of. They love their house and they love their guests, I am looking forward to coming back again because there's always something to look at or someplace to go when you are in Tuscany . The location of the house Is perfect. You are in the country, yet you can be in Florence in a very short time. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside or head out on an adventure

An absolutely incredible stay!

This was such an amazing experience! Even before our stay Cate was so helpful and coordinated everything we wanted to incorporate into our trip. When we arrived to the villa, check-in was easy and Cate made sure we were comfortable. We were a family of 8 and every en-suite room felt like a completely private area. Each and every room in the house was decorated with such care and beatiful furniture. There were so many areas, both inside and outside, for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The villa was clean and very well maintained, not to mention the view! The entire property was picturesque, like a storybook. The beds were super comfortable and the room darkening shutters made for a great sleep for everyone. The main town area is a 5 min drive or a 20 minute walk. We had a dinner prepared by Cate's sister, as well as a breakfast served in the villa..both were wonderful. We also had a pizza class with use of the 17th century oven in the villa, which was a highlight of the trip, so much fun! Not to mention the family wine, which everyone loved! Our only regret is not staying longer. We are all looking forward to returning to Cate, Cecilia, Angela and Paolo's family villa. Thank you so much for an incredible and unforgettable stay!

The Perfect Stay in Tuscany

Our family stayed at this wonderful Tuscan house for 8 days in August 2024. Our host Caterina, and her team, have been very responsive, both before and during our stay. The house has been in Caterina’s family for generations, so they show a great deal of care for both the house and their guests. The house is located near the town square of Impruneta, so very conveniently located with groceries and restaurant options nearby, and very central to Tuscany so most visit-worthy locations are at a reasonable driving distance. The pool – large and well maintained – was very useful, as there was a heat wave during our stay. Caterina was also very helpful with booking winery tours and arranging transportation; she knows the region very well, and it shows in her recommendations. Beyond the large size of the property, and the great team managing our stay, there were two features/services that greatly enhanced our stay, and which I highly recommend to any guest staying at the house: - Pizza dinner; we had a wonderful pizza making crash course from a local pizza chef, using the authentic wood-burning oven in the house. We had the most wonderful pizza dinner ever. - An authentic Tuscan dinner, prepared by Caterina’s sister and their staff, which was absolutely delicious (they set-up and clear out everything, so you don’t need to lift a finger – just enjoy a great home-cooked meal). We would highly recommend this house on your next trip to Tuscany. This one gets a perfect rating from us.
