  • Villa Bartolini Baldelli is a typical late 15th-century country villa on two floors, comprising seven large bedrooms – four double and three twin, all with en-suite bathrooms – two large dining rooms, two kitchens and spacious living rooms. The windows on the first floor offer magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, while the ground floor has direct access to the private garden, courtyard and Italian-style vegetable garden. Giovanna and Alberto were amazing and gracious hosts. Communication was great from the start and any questions were responded to promptly. They have a wonderful property with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Giovanna even offered a food and wine tasting session during our stay there which we are so happy we did our first evening there. It was the perfect way to start our stay at their beautiful villa. Our stay there was a highlight of our trip to Italy and we will be happy to return. Their wines are also some of the best we had that trip.

This property and the owners are truly amazing!!! We booked for my wife's birthday with 7 couples, and we cannot put into words how wonderful every aspect of this place is. The owner and her family are on the property, (but not at the villa so they respect your privacy) and they make you feel as though you are part of the family. The Villa is breathtaking and the history of it makes it even more special. The working winery on site is fantastic, and the food prepared on site was great! The scenery cannot be put into words and the location in proximity to Florence and other towns is perfect. If you have the privilege of staying here, you will not regret it. We cannot wait to go back!

The house was so beautiful and very big, bigger than we expected, and very comfortable! The hosts were accommodating, and added cribs and extra small beds to a couple of the rooms. The host was responsive during the stay, and answered very quickly any questions we had about the property. Was overall a good experience and would stay again! The only issue we had was with trying to plan an event including additional guests beyond those staying at the main villa, where the host was reluctant to accommodate. We would have appreciated more flexibility and trust that we would take good care of the property (we would have been completely fine with a security deposit). The host ultimately allowed the event to go on and greeted the pizza truck and tables/chair company on the property to make sure our dinner was great, which was very much appreciated!
