「Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! 「The place was not kept up. Our room's smoke detector was missing, and there was a smashed in area of the wall where a chair had been pushed up hard against it. The tub had rust stains. The room just seemed old. Breakfast was also quite minimal. No fresh fruit 😢」

「Wow! Takes a lot to impress us. But we were amazed. Our room was so clean. The carpet, everything in our room. Walls were painted so nice. The desk clerks were so nice. The lobby was huge, the handy man was working hard. He was doing a great job at painting. The carpet was immaculate. The inside and outside was well manicured. The breakfast area was clean and they had waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, toast etc. I have not seen anyplace this clean not even when I have paid double this....
