Located in Porter, Indiana just 0.4 miles away from your deeded beach access, welcome to The Indiana Dunes Retreat! This impeccably furnished two bedroom, two bath home has an expansive back deck on a beautiful wooded lot. A short drive away to Indiana Dunes National Park as well. Cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace or kick back on your back deck equipped with gas grill.

All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including internet, cable, central AC/heat, wood-burning fireplace, gas grill and more. Now offering a two-night summer minimum so times wont last, book today!

Glad we went
We enjoyed seeing the area. The house was clean and had everything we needed but for a place with so many windows and skylights it was incredibly dark. We called it the cave. The lighting was so bad. But we walked to the beach and especially enjoyed the Pavillion at the beach. Would have been helpful to understand the parking situation at the beach (can a short term pass be obtained by guests through the city?), but we made it work. We enjoyed our visit.

The location was perfect. You could easily walk to the beach. I feel like the house could have been slightly cleaner but it was not bad. I did make a call to rental company and they never returned the phone call. All in all it was still a good experience.

Beautiful view, quiet property, close to the dunes. Could use some touchup.
Loved the location. Quiet. Felt the cleanliness of the property could be better. Master bed was sandy. Towels were stained. Outside area didn't look it had been cleaned in some time. Windows dirty. Garbage cans outside hadn't been emptied in some time. Also that front step is dangerous. My husband fell not thinking that the first step is so awkward. I would be concerned for elderly staying at this location. I would suggest having shampoo/conditioner and other such amenities available to quests. Perhaps a welcome basket.
