Host interaction was good. House wasn’t clean, the 3rd bedroom didn’t have a bed, the sofa was switched out for a worn out shabby version (definitely a different sofa than the pictures), the house smelled stale and musty on arrival, master bedroom didn’t have a fire alarm, didn’t find carbon monoxide detectors anywhere. Host offered to come back and clean after we were already checked in (late check in) but we had already used the shower and toilets and our stuff was all in there so I declined.

3rd bedroom doesn’t have a bed. My middle school aged child was too long to sleep comfortably on it and it didn’t seem like a very cleanable option for a bed.

The good: loved the neighborhood, house had plenty of space, check in was easy, price was super reasonable!Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the beds were quite uncomfortable. If you like extra soft beds you can sink into, you might love them. But for us, we did not get good rest.

We were in town for a wedding so didn’t spend a lot of time in the home to determine the neighborhood, however, everything seemed a bit run down. The house was fine, but not as clean as I would have liked: floors needed to be cleaned, toaster had crumbs on it, the carpet on the stairs and upstairs needed to be cleaned and the entire place needed a fresh coat of paint. Food splatter on the ceiling in kitchen, loose faucet in master bathroom, and poor drainage in both sink and shower.

Spacious and fairly comfortable. Didn't like the lack of off-street parking, but there was a ton of space available on street so it wasn't as much of an issue as I feared. Also very winding staircase could be difficult for some. Beds were much better than a hotel. Only problem was absolutely no water pressure in the Kitchen sink and pretty low pressure in the shower upstairs. Owner says he's going to work on it.

Very cordial, responsive host. They were a few issues with the cleanliness of the home that he took care of, but it still put s sour taste in my mouth because those things should've been completed before we arrived. My daughter didn't enjoy the stay because she has a severe pet allergy. The washing machine and dryer were very convenient being upstairs by the bedrooms and the water was super hot. Bathroom was very nice. There's a nice park across the street but we didn't go over there. Also, the neighborhood seemed quiet.

Our suggestion was that for 7 guests - only one TV was crazy. There should have been one in every bedroom at least. There should have been railings on the outside of the house so no one would have fallen. A proper clothes rack in the first floor bedroom would work as well

The overall location was fair; wish it was in walking distance to convention center. Very comfortable beds. Overall clean with the exception of the stairs carpets.Check in process was simple and smooth. Good communication with the host. Could use more glasses and mugs.

Property was dirty. Long hair on the floor in the bathrooms, and sticky. Couch and blankets smelled very musty. Carpet on the stairs is gross. Kitchen faucet is stuck on spray, white dried milky susbstance on stove top, leftover coffee in pot and filter. Not the best neighborhood.

The bed was really comfortable. Great communication from the provider. It would have been nice to have a kettle but everything else (including a perculated coffee maker) was provided.

Lovely home - great neighborhood - close to downtown

I booked this property a year ago, so this was my second stay here. That should be enough to tell you how lovely the house, the neighborhood, and the owner are. If I had anything negative to say, it had a slight pet odor (I think pets aren’t allowed) when I first walked in, but nothing a little for Febreze couldn’t take care of. I will most likely book this same property next year on my annual visit.
