The River Retreat is situated on the outskirts of Inglewood, just a five-minute drive from specialty shops, restaurants, cafes, and the local supermarket for basic supplies. The charming rural town of Inglewood nestles amidst the almost fluorescent greenness of the Taranaki pastureland, just below the forested fringe of Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki. The Visitors Centre is a 10-minute drive away for those keen trampers, and it is only a 15-minute drive to New Plymouth.
Bookings which exceed 10 days will incur an extra mid-term cleaning and linen fee at cost to the guest every seven days.
