“The room was in a nice quiet part of the hotel and although we didn’t use all of the facilities those on offer were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked with the usual tea and coffee and towels and shampoo and shower gel. ”

“Whilst I notice other reviewers mention refurbishment, there was not much disruption when I visited (early May 2024) Plus points - Check in was easy and very welcoming. Bedroom was spacious, modern, clean and facilities in room were good. There was a bath and shower over which was nice and although the bathroom definitely did need refurbishment (was dated and showing wear and tear) it was clean, which was the most important thing. The bed was comfortable and I slept well which I don't often……

“The hotel was nice. We had a suite and the room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel overall looks tired and dated and is desperate for a refurb. The doors and windows at the back looked dreadful and were desperate to be painted. The carpets have been down so long it was like walking on paper. The staff were lovely and always helpful.
