「Economical stay within walking distance of the Ironbridge」

「Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

「Lovely hotel, great location within easy walking distance of Ironbridge and a short drive from Bridgnorth for the Severn Valley Railway, which we especially wanted to visit. The hotel is an old building with no lift and a bit of a labyrinth via stairs and corridors to the guest rooms. Staff were helpful with heavy luggage but the building may not be suitable for those with physical infirmities, unless there are guest rooms with easier access than the one we had. Excellent food. Breakfasts...

「We have previously stayed up in room 8 at the top of the property where it has been a lot quieter . This stay we were facing the outside of the seating area where we were not able to sleep because of chatting till 02-30 . This was on the Friday night 22/5/26. Bathroom not cleaned properly scum marks in bath and sink. Bath took along time to drain after a shower and all dirty particles in bath after eventually draining . I like the Swan Tap but was disappointed this time .」

「Ideal situation to see Iron Bridge and visit museums. Although on the down side there were lots of stairs to our room . The room was clean and beds comfortable but we found it a bit cold . The staff were very friendly and helpful .」

「We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff.」

「Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !」

「lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!」
