Host was great with communication. Love all the extra space especially for kids that don’t want to hang with their parents. Has extra necessities if you forget stuff. Coffee,spices,crockpots. Will definitely come back

We had a great time, close to snowmobile trail, gas station and bars. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Accommodations were great, they had everything there that we needed. Very nice and clean house. Definitely plan to stay there again.

Great House For Snowmobiling

Close to trails, house had everything we needed. It was a great house for 7 friends to hang out and we all had a comfortable place to sleep. The garage was convenient for fixing snowmobiles if needed. Host was responsive to questions and communication was great! We would stay again!

Great place to stay for snowmobiling

The house is right near the snowmobile trails. It is near a gas station and 2 restaurants. The Yooper diner is really good and the konteka restaurant is decent. The house was more than spacious enough for 8 guys. They had more mattresses that could be pulled out from under beds.

Family friendly in the Porkies

Overall a good experience. House was large enough to fit my large family for Christmas. Nice view out the back window. It was near the Porcupine ski area and nice hiking. It has a well stocked kitchen. There were some mechanical issues with the age of the house. Host was responsive. Would stay again.

Great for snowmobile trip

We had 7 people in the house. We were all very comfortable as the layout is spacious. There’s a whole basement space we didn’t even use, but would next time. Bed mattresses were cozy, and all amenities are included. It was close to the snowmobile trail and local bar/restaurant/bowling alley. Everything was clean and in great working condition. We will definitely stay again.

Very comfortable with central location

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was central to everything we wanted to do. The rear deck has comfortable furniture with a lovely view. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out there each evening - the only sound was the birds. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. I definitely recommend this home for a great stay in the Porcupine Mountains!!

Clean, beautiful view, plenty of room

We stayed with our adult children and my husband’s parents. There was plenty of room for all of us. The home was clean with plenty of towels. There has been some updating to the home and air conditioning was added. The view out the back was beautiful and a nice spot for bonfires. I would recommend some additional pots and pans that are a little bigger and work with an induction stove. Also, the pictures could be updated and that would enhance the listing. Overall, wonderful time at the cottage and Brian, the host, was very helpful.

Clean, Well equipped house

House had everything we were looking for; very clean, very comfortable beds, plenty of seating for dining and hanging out, both inside and out. Air conditioned, firepit, grill, laundry. We stayed with another family, and having 2 BR and 1 Bath each was very convenient. The extra trundle beds for the kids came in handy, and plenty of linens to equip everyone. Nice view of the porkies through the treeline. Got us close to the beaches, waterfalls, and hiking on the western shore. Saw plenty of deer, turkeys, cranes, right in the neighborhood.

Beautiful View and Comfy stay

Our stay at this house was above expectations. There were 6 of us staying at this house and felt like we were all able to spread out and have our own space. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and coupled with the quiet neighborhood, led to some good sleep each night. With 6 of us staying there and all needing showers each day, the on demand water heater was a saving grace. We did not have to worry about leaving hot water for the next person. I had a couple of questions for the owner who answered very promptly. The best part of the stay I would have to say was the view out of the back. You could see beautiful sunsets over the trees and hills whether you were doing dishes at the sink or cooking s’mores by the fire pit. I would highly recommend this stay for a family looking to spend time in the area.

The house worked well for our group. Inside the house has been updated. It could use some more up keep. A couple items that would be nice to see added are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

White Pine family fun

My father in law grew up in White Pine as a child. We enjoyed spending time with our father, sister and our own kids. We explored the Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior. The house fit our needs to a tee and everyone had their own personal space when need be. Would stay here again.

Nice home and great location

We enjoy our stay at this home. The home was very clean, the beds were great and the kitchen is well stocked. We needed a little help with the stove and the owner responded very quickly which is always greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Nice place

The property was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to visit. It was a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Some flys made their way in and were annoying the first night. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Everything fit our needs very well. Kitchen has enough room for multiple people to cook and clean up. Living and dining room laid out so everyone is included. Very clean and well maintained. Will most likely rent again next year.

Great place in the Porkies!

House was super clean. It had everything you needed in the kitchen for cooking. A few bigger pans would have been nice, but that's not a take away. Towels and linen were provided making packing easier on our end. Brian was always extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this spot. If we ever go back up to the Porkies this will be our place! Thanks again!
