"We loved the staff! I got injured because I rolled my ankle down the street from the hotel and fell on my leg. It was pretty cut up from the gravel. The staff were very attentive and brought me everything I needed. I was very appreciative of the help. The location was close to the beach. You have your own entrance from the hotel to a beautiful beach. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. The room was very clean and spacious! The fridge in our room was great! The water pressure was perfect! Loved our stay! We would come back."

"This hostel was everything that we could need on our trip to Isabela Island. The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday by housekeeping. The lady running the hostel was very sweet and even let us check in early so we could put our things away after arriving to the island. Breakfast was great and a very nice touch. "

"Amazing! A block to the beautiful beach! Restaurants right out the door! The most delicious and beautiful breakfast on the islands included! Jose is a wonderful host, the personality here matches the beauty of Isabela. So sweet. We even enjoyed just hanging out on the front porch watching Island life. Walk to food markets, and even a local food court nearby (don’t skip the bakery, Panaderia). We didn’t want to leave Isabela or Jose’s, La Gran Tortuga!"

"The place was fantastic. Huge room, big bathroom. Enormous shower. Everything was spotlessly clean, and cleaned everyday. Everybody was friendly, and they even have a fridge full of drinks with an honor system to pay. Was a wonderful place to stay, so very lucky we were able to find it. Cannot wait to stay here again!"

"Shower does not drain, mold in shower. Insects and water in room due to poor windows. Wifi was poor but the staff fixed that, the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful when you can find them."

"So Relaxing! We spent 3 nights in the beachfront two-story, two-bedroom apartment as a family of four, including two teenagers. On one of the days, instead of exploring Galapagos, we just relaxed and did nothing — and it was so worth it! The hosts come by each morning to prepare breakfast. We just stared at the pristine beach and ocean from the comforts of our accommodations. Iguanas roamed all over the place. We saw a pair of rays playing in the surf. There are flamingos nearby. And beachfront bars and restaurants are just a couple of minutes' walk along the beach. It’s also a good base from which to make day-trips to explore Galapagos. We only wish we had spent more nights!"
