Perfect spot for us

Sister getaway

We loved our stay at Isle of the Palms. The condo was great and the area is beautiful. The owners gave great suggestions for restaurants and sight seeing. The beds were incredibly comfy and loved the thick luxorious towels. I would definitely stay again!

Great cozy getaway

Lovely condo on top floor. Easy beach access and kid friendly. Note. This particular condo has 4 double beds. Other condos in the villas have one master queen and 2 doubles. Clean tidy, pots pans, coffee maker and Keurig. We love staying in lagoon villa on all our IOP visits Will be staying here again for sure. Excellent communication from management staff. 5 stars. manmanagement staf

Lovely, clean condo.

The condo and area were exactly as advertised,. Clean and comfortable and only a short walk to the beach. The area restaurants recommended by the owner were excellent. Weather was not good but found plenty of things to do in Mt Pleasant and Charleston. We highly recommend this condo!

Lovely, private, quiet!

Really enjoyed this fully equipped (lots of kitchen tools), nicely decorated condo - mattresses were comfortable, loved the private outdoor balconies overlooking the lagoon. Had a couple of maintenance issues and the AvantStay management of the property were available by phone and had it fixed within 4 hours. Great soundproofing between units, never heard the neighbors. We rented bikes which made for a quick ride to the beach; also totally walkable. Had a lovely vacation!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay in this Villa. The place was clean, it was furnished lovely. The bedrooms have plenty of room, living room is comfortable. We fixed breakfast each morning and ate at the dining table, there were bar stools but we enjoyed watching the animals. We stood at the window most of the morning looking for the alligator and finally found him, 2 turtles, lots of squirrels and birds. The walk to the beach was easy and fast. The pool was wonderful after going to the beach. The villa is quiet and almost everyone was friendly. We had 2 very rude people at the Main Gate check us in.

Didn’t like condo.

Seal in living room window broken. Property not as clean as could be. DVD player didnot work. Have rented nicer properties. This is 3rd year I have rented at Wild Dunes.

Comfortable condo, but some issues

This is a very nice condo, and we enjoyed the lagoon views. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything is very comfortable. The community pool is very nice and very close to the unit. But it's further from the beach than the description indicates because of the closing of the nearest beach access due to erosion, so we had about a 15 minute walk to the beach. We also lost electricity for several hours due to the owner's problem with the electric bill (they called it a mix-up). We had to spend several hours on the phone working that issue out but did get the electricity back on fairly quickly.

Great location for 2 young couples

This condo is a great place for a small family or two couples. Its common living space makes it easy to eat meals together and socialize / play games, while the separate bedrooms and bathrooms provide privacy and the ability for multiple people to shower / get ready at the same time. The kitchen and appliances / dining necessities provided made it easy for us to cook and eat meals. The location is great as well--easy access to the beach, a pool (we liked going to the beach in the morning and pool in the afternoons), and a short drive to restaurants / Charleston (we loved going to the local forts and experiencing the history of Charleston). The beach cart, towels, chairs, and umbrella provided by the owners made going to the beach easy and more enjoyable. The lagoon out back provided great scenery for us as well; we could sit in the mornings, drink our coffee, and watch nature. The owner was very easy to contact and quick to solve problems. I highly recommend this location and working with this particular owner.

Great unit, would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in Lagoon Villa. It was just as described. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds we’re comfortable, great view of the lagoon off the back deck. We walked to the beach in just a few minutes. Lots of shopping close by or about a 30 minute drive to Charleston. We had an issue where we left a valuable item in the unit after checkout, they were so accommodating to let us come back to retrieve it. This is a great place to rent from, definitely recommend!

Excellent Resort Island Getaway

Our family had a great time at the Wild Dunes villa. It was perfectly situated for us to enjoy days at the beach, bike rides, and a short ~30min drive into Charleston and other nearby attractions. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Wonderful stay on Isle of Palms

Our family had a wonderful vacation on Isle of Palms. The property is in Wild Dunes resort which was beautiful. The beach was a short walk and so nice! We enjoyed morning and evening strolls. Definitely recommend!!

Good vacation at Lagoon Villas

The location was perfect. Easy walk to beach and pool. Back decks overlooking the lagoon had mature trees that gave cooling shade. Pictures of the unit were accurate. Unit was clean and had all we needed. We would have liked a grab bar on the bath tho', the front screen door needed sprucing up and the slider door to the back porch was hard to open. All easy fixes.

Spacious and Convenient

Lots of space for family, beach is across the street, downtown Charleston is a 20ish minute drive - and other POI. Very well kept gated community with beautiful homes and landscaping.

Great location. Lots of walking and bike paths in the community. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful condo, decorated nicely and very inviting. Would stay here gain!

Very Clean and Great Location!

We have stayed in Wild Dunes several times, but this was our first time staying in a Lagoon Villas unit. This unit was super clean when we arrived which is extremely important to us. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. And it is a very quick walk to the beach. Walking there with 2 kids and a beach wagon full of stuff was no problem at all. We would 100% stay here again!

Loved the beach and easy access

The property was very clean and well stocked. We found no problems with our accommodations. However, there was work going on with lots of noise (decks were being redone) and it was annoying that we could not use the decks which had lovely views of the lagoon. Also, we wanted to recycle, but there were no bins in the garbage area so we took them to the recycling in our car.
