One of the cleanest properties we have stayed in! Plenty of room for everyone, including our dogs that loved the porch and fenced yard. Loved the ping pong in a rainy day and not having to pack beach chairs was a great bonus!

Spacious Gem!

My group of 5 were very comfortable in this house. Enough relaxation space for everyone and located on a side street away from the main avenue with a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Our family and bridesmaids stayed here for the wedding of my daughter. The house was perfect and sleepy arrangements were comfortable for 11 of us. The house was well temperature controlled and we had plenty of seating for dining and family time. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We especially enjoyed the screened in family area in the evening. We were busy and didn't go outside but there is a lovely backyard as well. One small issue we had was the fan and overhead light in the master bedroom did not turn on for us. Maybe the remote needed batteries? It was manageable though because there was a table fan an lamp lighting in the bedroom. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

it was everything we hoped for

we were looking for an affordable place that was near the beach and could accommodate our daughter and her college friends. Now that school had ended, and before they all started their jobs. Close enough to the beach and all the critical things that we needed at a reasonable expense the owner was flexible and communicative with us throughout the process

Perfect New Year

A beautiful house, beautifully decorated and maintained, in a beautiful place! My family and I were seeking a peaceful and cozy new year holiday with access to local sites and conveniences and the Palmetto porch house absolutely delivered. Erin was a delight to deal with, we would definitely stay here again!

Great house!

My family and I had a great experience at Beachy Haven! It is a beautiful house perfect for a large family vacation. The house was clean and well stocked with all kitchen essentials along with bath towels. It is also a very short walk to the beach and an excellent waterside restaurant. I would definitely recommend this rental!!

The house was awesome and has everything you need. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Even easier walk to bay. Would be a great place to stay in the summer. So close to so many things. I would stay here again.

Searching in South Carolina

The place is great, we stayed for the month of February. The location is very quiet, and in a nice neighborhood. If you are taking a dog I might suggest a flashlight, it is dark at night outside as there are no street lights. There are great restaurants on IOP and Sullivan Island. I suggest you make reservations way in advance.. The same for downtown Charleston restaurants. The house has a lot of room for guests, you definitely won’t be on top of each other. The screened in porch is very nice.

Isle of Palms Getaway

Our getaway was with family from NY, VA and NC. We had a memorable time and this house was very roomy and accommodating. This home had been tastefully remodeled and decorated. Very large sun room with dining. The host was great and replied to us very quickly. Very quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this place and host again. Great experience!

The kids slept in their own beds...all night...every night!!! Big win!!!

This house is soo comfortable. Lots of space for everyone to have a place to relax, a place to gather and a place to play. The kitchen is well stocked and organized. Having a wagon and chairs available saved us a ton of room in the car. Check in and out was a breeze. The owner was also readily available when contacted. We walked to the marina and the beach several times with 3 kids in tow. Our family vacay was much enjoyed by all. We will be back!

Enjoyed our time at IOP

We had a great experience and communication with the owner was excellent. The only bad things were the mosquitos, they were EVERYWHERE outside, and every time we opened the door some would get in. There was a cabinet with bug spray and other necessities which was a nice touch. And, the fireplace didn't work which was a bummer, but the owner did reply and send someone to fill up the propane immediately, we just could not get it to turn on. Other than those minor things, everything was great and the location was awesome!

Nicely remodeled home with some quirks

This home is in a good location. Unfortunately, there isn’t a sidewalk to get to the beach from the house and it would be a trek to try and haul all your beach stuff to the beach. However, there’s parking near the beach access and since we were here during off season, it was easy to get a parking spot next to beach access. If you are a healthy adult without much to carry to the beach, it is walkable from the house. The house is set back in a more wooded area. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitos. The back yard is very big and fenced in with a nice fire pit. The house appears to be an older house, that has been nicely remodeled on the inside, but there are some seal issues with the windows and we did see some gnats in the house. The kitchen has a nice ice maker, which is very convenient. There is not a Keurig in the kitchen, but they have a traditional coffee maker. The water dispenser on the fridge seems to be broken, water comes out of it in a very slow trickle. The beds were very comfortable and the house is very spacious. The TV was not working properly and we were unable to use it. I did not attempt to contact the owner, so she may have been able to easily remedy this for us if we had tried. You should know that cable is not included. You will have to login to your own streaming services if you want to watch anything. The Foosball table/ping pong table were big hits with our crew. Also, the light switches are in weird locations. Overall, I would stay here again.

The kitchen, dining and living rooms were perfect space for family time. The patio and fenced in backyard was also great for our dogs to run and an evening bonfire with smores. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Everything was exactly as posted, easy moving in and ease of departing. Bedrooms were stocked with clean towels, kitchen handled multiple cooks, lots of dining seating areas and 1/2 bathroom sure helped having 6 adults and 3 children. Close to beach access with amenities for coffee and groceries.
