When you enter Serenity on Marsh Island, you’ll be greeted by walls reflecting peaceful cool tones with images of coastal life setting the stage for relaxation. Step onto the screened porch to enjoy a journey you’ll never forget; watching amazing mango sunsets and enjoying the often present evening breeze from the marsh. This is a birdwatchers paradise. Keep an eye out for Heron, Egrets, Osprey, Red Tailed Hawks and the occasional Rosette Spoonbill. Enjoy time as well on the open deck viewing the starlit night sky. There is also a covered ground level marsh side seating area equipped with six Adirondack chairs and a table. The grill, more seating and side tables are just down the back steps from the deck off the dining room.
The well equipped kitchen, dining room and living area provide an open view of the marsh.
Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed with high quality linens, tv and attached bathroom. One of the two bedrooms upstairs has its own balcony where you can soak up the sun while enjoying the sights of the marsh, or view the evening constellations. There is a small refrigerator and coffee station in this room as well.
There is a second bedroom upstairs which has an expansive view of the Harbor golf course. These two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk in shower. The third bedroom located on the main floor has a lovely golf course view with an attached full bathroom that also accommodates the rest of the main floor. All bedrooms as well as the living room are equipped with smart TVs including access to Comcast Xfinity high speed internet. There is a laundry room with full capacity washer and dryer available. We provide six beach chairs, turkish beach towels, three umbrellas, children’s beach toys and a rolling cart to take them all to the beach, just a short walk away.
Serenity on Marsh Island is well appointed and conveniently located to local shops, restaurants and bars. We highly recommend you make reservations at restaurants now. Our world renown downtown Charleston restaurants book up months in advance during the majority of the year. Sullivans Island is 15 minutes away. Historic Fort Moultrie, Patriots Point and Fort Sumter are all within an easy drive. Middleton Place and Magnolia Plantations are about 45 minutes away. A short 30 minute drive takes you to historic Charleston where you can experience horse drawn carriage rides, world renowned restaurants and shopping.
