Ok place for a low price. Wifi was not good in my room, I could not rely on it for working etc. The cleaning was actually really poor. Breakfast was ok, and they made home made bread etc. Plus for 24 h reception, good location (2 min from grand bazaar) and cheap massage and hammam in basement that was ok!

We stayed at Comfort Elite for three nights mid-October... The hotel is situated perfectly between Old Sultanahmet & new town. It is a few minutes walk from the Grand Bazaar and about a 20 minutes walk downhill to the Blue Mosque. The tram stop is close to the hotel or you can easily find a taxi (you will need to haggle on the quote given). The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and is perfect for a short trip, the breakfast is basic, but good and enough to keep you going until lunch. I only have two gripes about the hotel, 1) the shower had no curtain or door & the bathroom would just get too wet... 2) the staff were polite, but no one smiled or went out of their way to talk to you and having been to Turkey many times I know that this is something that Turkish people, especially hotel staff are really good.

Il serait préférable de mettre une vitre dans la cabine de douche pour éviter de mettre de l’eau dans toute la salle de bains. Personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Propreté de la chambre et de l’hôtel.

Everyone in the hotel are very nice and helpful, Ilker help us a lot during our visit, giving us helpful information of where to go and how to get there. The breakfast is also very good. The location is really strategic, the hotel is close to so many places we want to visit. My wife loves the five minutes walking distance to grand bazaar. I will recommend this hotel to all my friend that will visit Istanbul.

The front desk service was v good and helpful. The hotel is in a good location for the Grand Bazaar...an easy 5-7 min walk. But, whilst the bathroom was newly outfitted. There was no shower door, so your shower water splashes throughout the bathroom quite badly.The next person needs to be ok with a wet bathroom floor. It had a filthy [unhygienic] toothbrush holder; it had mold growing inside it. The media remote controls had missing batteries so I had to supply my own. The linen was of a good quality and the single bed is comfy. However the room is quite tight and my luggage had to remain open on the floor as there is no-where else. Of course, it's fairly inexpensive hotel. The staff were it's saving grace. V polite and helpful. But I've stayed in similar places and found the attention to detail of maintenance better. 6/10

Very bad. The bed was not clean and was full of small animals. Both me and my friend had bite marks on our body and they did itch. When we told the receptionist, he called us a liar and got angry and took it personally. they finally switched the room only for my friend. The room was full of mold and when I told them, they just glued wall paper over it.I had very bad experience there.

A sophisticated and beautiful hotel!

A beautiful sophisticated hotel. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful in particular the reception guy named 'Atta'. We ran into some trouble at the restaurant called 'Doce' near the Grand Bazar (stay away from this restaurant as they overcharge and if you do not pay up they will become violent and abusive, we experienced both). But the staff and especially Atta were absolutely amazing and sympathetic! He allowed me to use his facilities to email, make phone calls and ordered us food anytime! I gave him a gift before I left. The hotel is in a great location near Sultanahmet-blue mosque and grand bazar. An excellent hotel but more importantly amazing staff!
