This hotel was wonderful from start to finish! Staff was attentive and kind. Breakfast had many options and changed slightly from day to day. Very short walk to all the sights and in a safe neighborhood.

The property was located at a prime tourist spot. Many attractions nearby and different things to do. The staff is helpful and friendly in suggesting tours as well. Staff is also helpful in accommodating needs. I had a great winter experience looking forward to another sometime in the future!

Trotz Angaben eines Parkplatzes vom Hotel, keine Parkmöglichkeit. Wir mussten in der Nähe auf einem Parkplatz gegen Gebühr parken. Eine Ermässigung für diesen Fehler des Hotels gab es nicht. Es ist abends aber auch nachts sehr laut drumherum. Das Frühstück ist in einem anderen Hotel in der Nähe. Man muss also aus dem Hotel zum frühstücken. Die Auswahl, im Gegensatz zu anderen niedrigeren Hotels, sehr mager. Weiche Butter am Buffee, oder allgemein die Auswahl sehr wenig. Lage super! 👍 Die Getränke in der Minibar sind kostenpflichtig in Euro. Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, daher auch der Lärmpegel an den Fenstern.

A nice little hotel in a very convenient location for the old town attractions (Blue Mosque, Topaki Palace, Hagia Sophia). It's a fairly old hotel with lots of character. Don't go there expecting very modern facilities as you'll be disappointed but it has all you need for a city break. The breakfast (taken at a nearby terrace) is fairly basic and caters more for the Mediterranean/Asian travelers. Bread, cheese, cold meats, olives etc. and cake. no toast which would have been nice. All in all a friendly place and I wouldn't put anyone off.

Everything was great except the parking, when I booked the hotel it supposed to be free parking available that’s what they mentioned in the website, but it wasn’t I had to pay for parking! The staff was friendly & the Room in very good condition.

Room was clean. Central location to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi. Front desk people were quite helpful. The 3rd bed in our room was a pull out sofa which was not comfortable - springs were poking through at several places. The bathtub had a jacuzzi that didn’t work; Breakfast was fine; If you are a vegetarian, you have cereal, bread, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and watermelon. Coffee was definitely not the “Turkish” type. BTW, Hippodrome and Azade hotels are one and the same. We had booked with Hippodrome; stayed at Azade!

Perfect hotel for sightseeing

This hotel is in a perfect location to see the best sites. Literally walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Haji Sophia etc. Plus the staff was so good to us. They took great care of us during our whole stay. Helped us get cabs. Breakfast buffet was served in their nearby sister hotel which had a beautiful Bosporus view and had longer breakfast hours and a better selection than most US hotels. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and shops. There are small markets nearby which carry everything we needed.
