The toilet leaked. Overall the hotel was really comfortable for what we paid. Breakfast options for hot cooked food was okay, could have been a bit better. Location was excellent. At the heart of the area.

The hotel was very good and service from Mehmet and his bellboys (Ismet / Ilyaas not sure what the other gentleman's name is) was excellent. The cleaning staff and the breakfast team was always polite and friendly. This is definitely one hotel I would recommend as the location and the hotel are perfect! If I visit Istanbul again, I will definitely go back to Ipek Palas. Thank you to their team for the excellent service.

The best hotel

Actually the hotel is fantastic the rooms are bigger than usual. The bathroom are clean.the water of shower 🚿 are not and running fast the buffet breakfast have a big variety of foods the employees were kind and helpful thanks for Mehemet he was fully aware about my family. Thanks again

Mixed review on Hotel Ipek Palas, the location is great, alot of shops close by as well as some restaurants, easy access to a tram stop but also you could walk to the big attractions, I'd say the location is perfect. The hotel itself is nice, clean but the breakfast is limited so it was a waste for us as after the first morning we never ate there again. The room was tiny, we only had access to one side of the bed, which was also very small and no room to move, couldn't even open a suitcase in the room had to open it Infront of the door or on the bed but then you had no where to sit. The bathroom in our room also smelt damp but seemed clean. Torn whether I would stop there again

The hotel is located in a good area, with lots of places to eat. Walkable distance to The Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia mosque and Topaki Palace Museum. However, There was a cockroach running around in the breskfast area- wgich we informed insect in the bed then they csme and cleaned the room, toilet seat broken even though we had informed then to fix it they did come and have a look but was still broken. I was shocked that they dont clean and change the bed sheets everyday. When i informed about the room bot being cleaned i got the redponse of we dont clean the room everyday abd you need to put a sign up to say you want your room to be clesned which i was not informed wheb checking in. Cleaness is what lets them down alot.

Liked the area & how easy it is to get to the main attractions.. thr galata bridge & tower haggia Sophia all walkable ..I walked everywhere from my location.. staff really friendly even for my laundry done for a small fee.☺️ rooms are really good aswell.. I knew I just wanted to sheep & shower but they are still really worth checking into..

Good breakfast but bad maintenance

Good included breakfast. The only issue was the extraction fan of the toilet was not working and I think someone next door was smoking all the time. And the smell was getting in through the non working fan.

Only the location was a positive

Our rooms did not have WiFi, and even though we told them several times they never fixed it. So the fact that they claim to have WiFi is a joke. The walls of the rooms are thin, so you can hear everyone. In one of our rooms the soap and shampoo dispensers had not been filled. The breakfast is below average and the bread is really boring, and it’s outrageous that they charge you extra for an omelet. The hotel staff do not speak proper English and we ended up communicating through Google Translate. The location is the only positive, so go find another hotel in the area, as this one is not worth the money at all.

Idéalement situé !

L'IPEK PALAS HOTEL est idéalement placé. Nous y avons séjourné 4 nuits au mois de Mars. En chambre économique. Petite chambre, mais pratique. L'hôtel est très central, il permet d'être en 10 min à pied au palais Topkapi, à la mosquée Bleue, à la mosqué Ste Sophie, au pont Galata, au marché aux épices... En moins de 20 min au Gd Bazar, à la Tour Galata. Vraiment un atout qui permet de rayonner et de rentrer à l'hôtel pour se reposer, déposer des affaires ... Le buffet du petit déjeuner est copieux avec du salé et du sucré. Je ne peux que vous recommandé cet hôtel.
