The staff is so good, extremely helpful, and my room was spotless each and every day. My stay at the Kybele Hotel made me feel that I was in Istanbul, and not at a hotel in Istanbul. The location, the decoration, the food, and the service they offered for airport pickup were SUPERB. I won't stay anywhere else but at Kybele if I ever go back to Istanbul.

Excellent place to stay at in a very quiet neighborhood and at the same time you're pretty close (walking distance to the main attractions in Sultanahmet. The Staff is always taking care of the guests. The whole block is colorful well lited area. Definitely next time I'm going to this place.

I have been to over 40 countries and this was perhaps one of the two worst hotels in which I have stayed. Really rude and unprofessional front desk staff that do not seem to value politeness and privacy of guests. The lack of English and communication skills was yet another challenge at this hotel.

It’s a gem right in the center of Istanbul. Hagia Sophia 3 min away. Blue Mosque, 5min away. There is also a restaurant downstairs which has great food and reasonable prices. Staff is amazingly friendly and respectful. Loved it!

A small and quirky hotel where you didn’t feel like just a number. Crazy decor with hundreds of lamps on the ceilings. Excellent location a couple of minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good restaurant outside with heaters if cold, which it was, unusually for the beginning of May. Recommend.

This is very charming hotel that is in the heart of Sultanahmed. It really is incredibly close to the Basilica Cistern, the Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque. What I liked about Kybele is that it has character and makes you feel like you are in Turkey. My room was lovely and quaint. The hotel breakfast is excellent. The hotel also has a restaurant out front that is a great place to relax and watch the world go by. Note that this hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you struggle with stairs this may not be for you. That being said, the staff was very helpful in carrying my heavy suitcases to my room and down again when I checked out. I definitely recommend Kybele for character and location.

The hotel is adequate. The staff is nice and welcoming, the cleaning is fine. The bathroom facilities are very outdated and on the verge of not working. The bathroom door in our room couldn't close which was not ideal. The wifi did not reach our room, so if you are on it you have to sit in the lobby. The breakfast was very sparse and not worth the 10€ per person, per day. All in all the hotel is completely adequate, it needs some updates and repairs, but the stay was fine overall.

So close to everything, even the walk to the Galata tower wasn’t bad and that’s over a bridge ! The staff were so nice and helpful. Everything was very clean and the room was beautiful. I would stay here again :)
