“The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right……

“Schöne Unterkunft mit Meerblick, oberhalb der Haupstraße nach Sitia/Ierapetra, dadurch recht laut. Die nächstgelegenen Restaurants sind 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ”

“Fabulous place to stay! Apartments were spacious, spotless and well equipped. Staff were very helpful. Pool was beautiful but needed access to drinks and snacks. The sunbeds were mainly in the shade which is lovely, but would benefit from some sunny areas. Located with easy reach to a small but beautiful beach with tavernas, bar and small shop. Not far from Eloundas, Agios Nikolas and other . Would definitely recommend. ”

“The first point is the steep slope upto the properties from the road, we had read some of the other reviews and it isnt at all bad, as long as you are in first gear its a breeze!! Another negative thing we read was the steps down to the road, if you are on foot, these were not as bad as other reviews say!! Yes they are slightly uneven but not a problem to get up and down them. We stayed in number 6 (a 2 bed villa) and it was clean, well equipped and had lovely sea views!!! The owners were……

“Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und immer gut gelaunt. Der Pool hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer und war von der Größe her, für ein Hotel in der Stadt, ausreichend groß. Der Liegebereich am Meer könnte schöner gestaltet werden. Das Betonplateau ist leider ziemlich hässlich und für ein Hotel dieser Sternekategorie nicht annehmbar,der Einstieg über die Leiter ins Meer schwierig. Gut gefallen hat uns das Frühstück und die Nähe zum Hafen ,Restaurant.”

“Wirklich ein ausserordentlich gut geführtes Hotel. Essen auf Spitzenklasse, bester Service, perfekt gestaltete Anlage direkt am Wasser. Zwei Dinge, die man (v.a. in der Nebensaison) wissen muss: die Bungalows sind eher dunkel (keine Fenster) und klein. Der Pool ist nicht beheizt.”

“Hébergement plein de charme, très propre, confortable et spacieux. Très bob petit déjeuner. Devant une belle plage de sable et à 10mn du centre-ville d’Agios nikolaos. Nous n’avons pas essayé la piscine mais elle avait l’air très bien.”
