"Absolutely fabulous hotel on Miyajima. The dinner and breakfast were beautiful and all of the staff were superb and friendly. Well worth it for a treat!"
"What a great ryokan experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip. This was our introduction to an onsen and it was perfect. The meals are a must! The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Arimoto and would come again."
"The property is so close to the train station / ferry! We had a excellent stay, and it was great value for money. The only con is that there aren't any restaurants at walking distance. But we only stayed for a night, and highly recommend it!"

10/10 Excellent
"The view was amazing, we had a corner room and big large windows. The bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious."
"Excellent hotel. Room was very clean. We had to extend our stay by a day and the hotel was very accommodating of our request. Location is within walking distance of the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima. They also have a very nice rooftop bar that gives you an excellent view of the city. Cannot recommend this place enough. "This area really surprised me. It is remote but is beautiful!
The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. I was expecting continuous hot water flow like in the public onsen."
"Room was a little cramped but very comfortable. The bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent but small. It was clean and clean towels were provided every day. The location was excellent, close to MCAS Iwakuni and close to the city center. The provided meals were frozen microwaveable dishes that were tasty but only providing frozen meals was disappointing but you are close to a convenience store and not far from many amazing restaurants."
