"The hotel has excellent facilities, in particular with private outdoor hot spring water bath, which is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is excellent, but little too expensive. The hotel also has shuttle bus to the train station. Some facilties need proper maintainence, such as basin. Cleaness could be improved. Overall, this is a good hotel."

"We checked in and were immediately surprised at how dated and inelegant it was. We decided to keep an open mind and waited for our room to be prepared, but when we were shown to our room, it was tiny with barely any room for anything but the futons in the middle of the floor. There was mold everywhere and an enormous spider in the closet of a bathroom from the moment we arrived (so house keeping must not have bothered even looking in there). The “private onsen” is just a bathtub on the balcony, which is in complete disrepair. We explained our concerns to the staff and ultimately stayed less than an hour- we requested reimbursement for at least the second of the two nights we booked, particularly since we booked last minute only hours before arriving, so we knew we weren’t taking up a reservation for a room they would have otherwise been able to book someone else in. Expedia was unable to reach them have sent two emails any have gotten no response. This hotel looks nothing like the photos and the conditions are unacceptable. "
