“Horrible experience and horrible staffing. Rooms were dirty, broken closet door , cockroaches in rooms. I was moved 3x and there was cockroaches in 2 different rooms. Went to complain to the front desk and they were rude pretty much blaming the situation on me. I stayed 1 night after being moved from 3 different rooms and they charged me for 2 nights. The 2nd night was charged because I let them know after 11am that there was cockroaches in the room even though I explained to them I had left……

“This is just a very old property that hasn’t been updated. The carpets in the halls need to be cleaned and the rooms could use some regular maintenance.”

“Damp, musty smell. Carpet should be removed. I wonder if the upstairs units are the same? I'd like a lake view next time. I will be coming bk in Sept for an extended stay & would like a Lake view.”

“This is an amazing place to stay. Fishing was great. The property and cabins are beautiful and well maintained. Enjoyed the variety of wildlife there. Jim Attrell, the ranch owner was very pleasant and kept us very well informed of what we needed to do prior to our arrival with lots of useful information to enhance our experience. His ranch managers, Dom and Carol go above and beyond to make the stay at Lake Godstone unforgettable. Loved the golf cart/ ATV to get around the beautiful trails and……

“the outside is really outdated and needs repair. the office door is always locked and you have to ring a bell for someone to open and talk to you, they still have an ant invasion problem and have shut down several rooms. on the plus side, our room had extra toilet paper, and a clean refrigerator. last time there was left over food from someone else in the fridge.”

“We have 3 grown sons, 2 married with babies and do a lot of rentals for vacations. This was one of the absolute best we’ve stayed in. We were looking for a place for a family reunion where our extended family could come hang out during the day, and this was perfect. The host Jimmy went above and beyond to help us make it a great time for our first family get together in 10 years. We rented the 4 wheelers; some of our group fished and canoed, used the shooting range, played corn hole, made……
