Mermaid Dreams is a Beautiful home literally footsteps from the beach. Spectacular Ocean views from the living room, front porch or the elevated deck.
3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, one story home on Fernandina Beach with beautiful ocean views. Newly renovated and furnished, sleeps 2 to 6+ with a pullout couch for your extra guests. 3 bedrooms; 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed and 1 with a daybed/trundle. High speed wifi throughout the home. Use the full-size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board for all your laundry needs. The kitchen is modernized and equip with all the essentials. Large back patio with screened sliding glass windows and a large screen TV. The back yard is fenced in and has a gas BBQ for your convenience. A rooftop perch for those breathtaking sunrise views or just relaxing and listening to the waves roll in. The front porch is fantastic for enjoying a glass of wine and feeling the ocean breeze on your face. A one car garage along with parking for cars in the driveway. After spending time at the beach, refresh yourself in a large enclosed outdoor shower adjacent to the back porch.
Within a 5 to 10 minute walk you will find Sliders Seaside Restaurant along with several other restaurants and bars.
Beach towels and beach chairs are available for your use.
Nonsmoking; small to medium size dogs on a case by case basis; other pets not permitted.
30 minutes to the Jacksonville Airport. Enjoy 8 golf courses, boat tours, charter fishing, Historic Fort Clinch, museums, shopping and lots of walking and biking paths.
Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach is only 5 miles away where you can enjoy walking the old town streets, visit the charming shops, and some of the best cuisine in North East Florida. Most restaurants and taverns have live music several nights each week. Don’t miss Florida’s oldest bar.

Comfy and close to the beach

My wife and I spent a month at the house and enjoyed it immensely. Close to stores and restaurants and, best of all, just a quick walk to the beach, at most! The home was as described. The road was busy at times but we had no trouble getting in or out of our drive. We would stay there again. The home had all the amenities we needed for our month. The owner was extremely responsive whenever we had a question.

Great location across the street from beach!

We stayed here for the month of Feb. It was our first visit to Fernandina Beach. The house is as described in the listing and photos. We brought our dog so the fenced in backyard was a bonus. The beach is across the street, close to a public access path. Fast response from manager when we had small issues.

I booked this rental for a family who had been temporarily dispaced from their home. Before the rental term even started, the hosts were courteous and kind, and very quick to respond! The family loved the home as well! What you see represented on the site is exactly what you get! I would definitely recommend for future rentals!

Great place to stay

Kitchen was well equipped; big new refrigerator was great for month supplies. Very clean and well furnished. All mattresses comfortable. Backyard was perfect for the dog (and us); Plenty of mature trees for shade if needed and two sides were block walled for privacy.

Perfect location, clean, owner very responsive.

Living room couches and chairs were clean but are in much need of upgrading (low to floor and uncomfortable. And hard to get up from). Be prepared to climb a flight of stairs when entering and leaving the house. Overall great location easy access to the beach, grocery stores,, old town Fernandina Beach, Fort Clinch State Park, all of Amelia Island. I recommend this place

Definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay and wish it was longer. Very family and pet friendly. Fenced in yard for our dog was awesome. Great location...close to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to the beach. We had a "dreamy" stay

We spent six weeks at this property while we were house-hunting on Amelia Island. The home was very well appointed with kitchen, bath and beach essentials. Steve, the owner, was local and very responsive to minor issues we encountered with internet, printer ink and TV remote. If you have pets, this is a perfect place for them with a fenced rear yard and plenty of places to walk and play nearby. Plus, you're a short walk from Sliders Seaside Grill, which is a great beachfront venue for breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinner. We would definitely stay here again if we hadn't succeeded in buying our retirement home during our stay!

Great Location

What a great stay! The home was in a perfect location with easy access to the beach. The home also had everything I needed which made trips to the store minimal. I stayed at this home for seven weeks and could not have asked for anything more. Highly recommend and I'll be back!!!
