We had a great time outside, loved the views of the ocean and the beach access. The front room was angled so we had to watch TV in the master bedroom. Our biggest let down was there were 4 towels total for 3 of us, and absolutely no beach gear (no chairs, towels, etc.)

Quiet, beachfront spot

This was my second time staying in this condo. It's small and clean, perfect for a small group. We love the beach view and easy access to the shore. The pool is nice and clean. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. We hope to stay again!

Not to happy

Summer prices for winter stay. Was disappointed that major repairs were ongoing to outside. Lots of workman and noise. Should have been informed of impact of the construction to patio railings. Lots of metal chipping and grinding. Difficult to enjoy beautiful beach view and hear the surf.

Property was surrounded with junk, trash, and debris

Unfortunately, our experience was poor. There was major roof construction ongoing during our stay. We had no notice that any work was being done during our stay. Junk, trash, debris, and dirt fell from the roof onto our balcony such that we couldn't sit outside or leave the balcony door open during our stay. I swept so much that my son remarked that they should be paying us. The same junk and materials and dirt fell into the pool below. I did not see one person use the pool the whole week. It was very gross. The construction crew workers could not have cared less about their debris assault. My son asked me to report to you that the pool "sucks." We had zero notice of this major construction (industrial equipment and vehicles and beeps, and loud booming noises from 8 to 5 every day). The ceiling noise was alarming. I imagine it will be ongoing over the summer so heads up!! The unit itself was fine, roomy enough for a family of 4. However you may want to skip over this unit/beachdrifter property this summer as the junk, trash, and noise caused by construction appears to be an ongoing and big project.

Awesome choice for a getaway!

Our time at this condo was just wonderful. The condo was comfortable and it’s location in town was perfect. The views of the beach were awesome. There was plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again. Highly recommend.

Awesome retreat!

This was a no so last minute decision for the family as for x-mas mini vacay. We know the area and this was an awesome addition to our choices in Jacksonville Beach!

Great view, decent place, lousy mgt.

Took 2 days to get any response, then another 2 days for resolution of easy stuff- extra towels and TV. Owner had a lock on the TVs so couldn’t add apps , took 2 days to get fire sticks delivered. Elevator to bldg went down half way through, never received a response to 4 days of questions/complaints. Left 3 days early as wife had a hip problem and couldn’t do stairs. Place was ok but needs updating and with lousy mgt, stay elsewhere!

Good condo on the beach

The unit we stayed in was very nice. As other reviews noted there is some significant construction going on in the building (e.g. half the balcony railings are removed)- it didn't bother us too much, due to our schedule and, I think the construction holiday schedule. (They were working while we were there, but whatever they were doing this past week, we hardly heard them)

As soon as you walk in in you are met with stale mildew from the carpets in the bedrooms. Kids room had popcorn falling and water damage on ceiling. I tried to clean behind the beds as they were disgusting. Vacuum did not work so we called it in and I helped clean with house keeping by moving the beds. Even house keeping said "this place hasn't been deep cleaned in awhile." Second morning I woke up with terrible sinuses and hoarse. Then my husband then my daughter. Coughed the rest of the vacation making it 3 out of 4 of our family got sick. We called over 5 times and did not get a maintenance manger till the day we were leaving. The master bed was dipped so far in that you couldn't sleep on your stomach. The hose in the sink was backed up and the toilet kept running. The carpets need to be ripped up and we wouldn't be surprised that black mold would be found ... that is how sick we got. This was supposed to be our last family trip before my husband left for the summer training soldiers in the National Guard. He has slept in some of the worst places and he could not stay a night longer. We tried to find an alternative place but we had our dog and/or leave earlier but my daughter had a special birthday at the zoo. Kids and I slept at our family friends 2 of the nights. We left as soon as we could a day early. Needless to say, our last family time together was not a good one. We are trying to work out a resolution with the management company but as of now nothing appropriate.
