The building is old. Unfortunately it seems like they do not maintain the building properly. The sink was (almost) clogged, no curtain in the shower space which make the entire bathroom wet and flooded. There are a lot of cocroach moving around the room. It was really disgusting.

acceptable for tour, ABSOLUTELY NO for business.

Generally it is a 2 star hotel. Room clean but very small, location not bad but a bit difficult to find out. Hot water available in corridor. Our room is a twin beds room, beds are narrow, breakfast simple enough. Waiters are Ok, though less experiences. No cable available, WIFI ACTUALLY RATHER TOO TERRIBLE, ABOSOLUTELY NOT FOR BUSINESS TRIP. Waiters put a number of brochures of the chain hotels of their group in front of the front counter, and these brochure looked same. One day, when took taxi going back, we showed the hotel map to the driver and the driver took us to a another chain hotel, and we found the mistake, it took us nearly 2 hours to come back because of the wrong guidance of the map. Why not put their own brochure on the front desk, it is likely for a guest to pick up a wrong brochure of another hotel.

Stay at Amaris

The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious. It is within walking distance to Juanda Station which makes going to Bogor or other parts of Jakarta easy. There are also numerous eateries around and food street is also within walking distance. The room I was in look somewhat old and could do with a refurbishment though; eg. the blinds were dirty and there was algae on the toilet walls and the bedsheets were not pristine white.
