"We had a wonderful time at the Sandcastle and hope to be back someday! It was very spacious and had lots of amenities. The beach and location were great! I gave it a four and not a five because although the pool was wonderful and used a ton many people in our party got ear infections, which put a bit of a damper on the trip. Luckily someone had some ear drops that we used until we were able go home and see a doctor. When going to the doctor they said it was probably due to a poorly chlorinated pool. I'm not sure how often the pool is maintained or cleaned, but I never saw anyone there that checked the levels. Even with the ear aches we still had a great time."

"We had a truly magical week at Mark's home. Mark was responsive and helpful in planning our trip, making excellent recommendation and connections on the island. His property manager was also very responsive throughout our stay. You will not find a better view and peaceful vibe anywhere on the island. Thank you, Mark!"

"This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Starting from the minute I got there. I didn’t receive any email or notification about how to enter the property. I arrived at 2pm bcz that’s the check-in time. Nobody was available on site and I waited outside trying to contact the host Samia for about 30 minutes until she replied with instructions of where the key was located. This should have been sent prior to my arrival. The first day, we didn’t have electricity and WiFi for a few hrs. I had a very important work meeting and it was very inconvenient and stressful. I also didn’t have any hot water throughout our stay. Taking cold showers was unpleasant. The place was not clean as it looks in the pictures (which is actually the penthouse not our actual room). It feels like an abandoned property that has not been maintained well. The only nice thing about this place is the oceanfront view. On our 2nd day, we woke up from an afternoon nap and was pretty much eaten alive with bed bug bites all over our bodies. I counted 50 bites, my sister had about 20. We woke up in complete panic and packed our stuff immediately. We could not find another place to stay last minute so we ended up sleeping in our rental car. I was disgusted and have never encountered an experience like this. I contacted the host to let her know we had left the property early and her response was that she was sorry this happened to us and was not offered any compensation or refund. Horrible host and property. "

"I can't say enough about this property. The location was perfect. Right on the water with amazing ocean views and beautiful sunsets. Short drive to Governor's Harbor with great restaurants. The fish fry on Friday's is a must to get the local experience. We fished from the property and caught some small, but unique species. We swam, snorkelled, kayaked. Water was a bit cool, but still amazing. We chartered a fishing trip with Jeremy Lewis who put us on fish even though the conditions weren't the best. Eleuthera exceeded expectations! Deborah and Romell where very responsive and helpful during the whole process. Highly recommend!"

"Harry was a very good host. He was close by and available whenever we had questions.The location is perfect to walk to dinner or for a short drive to any number of amazing sites on the island. The view from the balcony is perfect!"
