There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore.」

The game room was an absolute hit and the kids hardly wanted to leave. The layout worked really well to gather but also have quiet time if needed. Kathy was super helpful and responsive. 「We had a wonderful time with our family at Cheryl’s beautiful home. This was our first time to Twain Harte and the location is great! There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights around Easter and Cheryl welcomed us with Easter gifts! Very clean and comfortable home! Definitely would stay again! We also took a trip to Columbia which is only a 30 minute drive. There is a family of deer that love hanging out and we watched them from the deck....

「Overall it was great and a gorgeous property; however, the cleaning crew from the last time they cleaned missed a lot; there was rotting cabbage in the downstairs refrigerator, a cup left on the stairs, and what appeared to be bug eggs in the beams of the loft with a white powdery substance on the carpet below the area. We only stayed one night because we just wanted a place close to Dodge to ski, but we could have happily stayed a week.
