“Bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean. Quiet safe town. Was traveling trailing a Jeep and plenty of space to park. Bass steakhouse was great delivery. Could have stayed all day in that bed!!”

“This was a beautiful property! Living area was immaculately clean, high quality appliances, countertops, woodwork, and flooring. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed the pond and paddle boat (catch and release fishing). Took walks along the paved hiking paths. We also traveled the countryside and found fresh strawberries, jams, sauces, breads, and Amish baked goods. Host was very attentive when needed, but did not bother us during our stay. Wines available for purchase on site. Note to guests: this……

“The location is amazing, as is the host. The downside is how outdated and under maintained the house is. The site says infers it is recently updated but that’s just a new floor (poor quality) and new countertops. The screen doors on the sliding door are broke, huge cobwebs in the top of the ceiling, the basement screen door is held closed with a rock, the laundry is creepy, etc. The trees are overgrown, and no drapes for privacy in the second property. Worst of all is if you flush the primary……

“The property was well-kept and had all that was needed for a wonderful stay. Private and quiet, a nature lover stay. We saw Bald Eagle daily, deer crossing the river, fawns, and diving ducks, and found possible bear trax. It was fantastic. The beds could be more comfortable and had to sleep on the sofa but the bedding was nice etc. We had a great time on the river as did the dogs. I got to meet the owner and she was very nice. I would recommend a stay here. It was a nice escape from the grind……

“The house was immaculate and included everything for a comfortable stay including extras like kitchen supplies, nice bathroom towels, games, kayaks and firewood. The view from the covered deck is majestic and we saw lots of wildlife on the property. The owner, John, was accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We would love to spend another weekend here.”
