The property was extremely clean well stocked with everything needed the views are amazing and television and phone and internet services wqs excellent the location was easy to access even in snowy conditions I would highly recommend the property.

Weekend retreat

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Had a great stay and wish we had more time. Terrific location just far enough away from everything to feel mostly secluded, but close enough to amenities to be practical.

We came up to Bob’s cabin in the fall, with peak foliage and amazing views. The cabin was as described, clean and so relaxing. I really appreciated their hospitality and communication! I would stay there again.

We loved our week at Lookout Lodge. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin was well stocked and very clean. The views were gorgeous and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

My wife and I stayed at the Lookout Lodge- A Rocky Mountain Getaway for one week from April 13 to April 20, 2024. Lookout Lodge is a great place to relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains. Total peace and serenity. If you are looking for a place to escape from it all, this location is it.

Beatiful Fall break!

We all enjoyed the stay! Comfortable and newer place with all you need. The local trail was great and we also recommend Black Powder Pass Summit if you are up for a little drive and a little longer hike. The Fairplay grocery store was great, combined it with the hike. The hosts are very accommodating and quick to reply with any questions, Thank you!

Lookout Lodge Review

Lookout Lodge is very beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a remote setting, this would be the place. It is a bit further out than expected and what the listing provided. Everything you needed for accommodations was there. However, it quite uncomfortable for sleeping and with lack of windows and curtains for the afternoon sun, it was extremely hot.

Beautiful Stay near Fairplay

This property is so lovely. Lots of extra convenient items were included, like coffee, spices and some toiletries. They also included games and puzzles. There was a badger living right off that back deck that we saw around dusk both evenings we stayed. We also saw quite a few deer. I also recommend making a stop at the ghost town in Fairplay. The photos do not do the view justice. Overall, wonderful stay and a beautiful property.

Great work in progress

In a year or two this cabin will be Top Of The Line, from the inside. The drive up to the cabin is a bit rough about 20-30 mins of dirt road as long as you're not leaving every day it's no problem. Cabin was very clean and many small things are thought of amazing hosts.

Beautiful Cabin - breath taking views!

Check in was easy. Place was well kept. Beds were a bit hard but the pillows were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed, just don’t use the stove and oven at the same time lol. In the mornings the sunshine was a bit intense, but as long as you have sunglasses you should be good. Overall it was a relaxing stay! We will be back in the fall.

Great Stay

This was a great place to stay. The cabin was very clean and had all the necessary items for our stay. The location is far driving distance to all our touring activities; however, was a very nice and quiet place to come back to each night.

You will not regret this VRBO

We have not stayed at any vacation rental that had the views that this home had! We did not want to leave. You could see"14ers" from the living room couch and the Poncha Pass range from the dining room. Unbelievable!!! And that isn't even including the night sky! It looked like you could reach the Big Dipper from the deck. If you looked straight up, there was the Milky Way. Just sit on the deck with a cup of Hot Chocolate (also included) at 3am and be amazed!! The home had everything you would need or want. From the well equipped kitchen (crock pot, pots and pans galore, Keurig and Cuisinart coffee pot, toaster and very nice serving dishes, to name a few.) The linens were plush and new and the dishes and glasses were spotless. We had wonderful weather - 40's at night and 70's during the day. If the weather is rainy, there is a table full of games in the basement, along with air hockey and a putting green!! We can't say enough great things about this home.
