"Shangri La Yiwu is more like a 2 to 3 star hotel. It's dated and oldish and the staff are quite lazy and uninterested. Housekeeping is a daily issue and the dirt permeates everywhere. Shangri La Yiwu will leave u angry La.. Will never stay here again .."

"I had a fantastic stay at the Yiwu Marriott Hotel. The location is perfect—right next to District 1 of the International Trade City, which made everything so convenient. There’s also a shopping mall nearby, ideal for an evening stroll or grabbing dinner after a long day. The night market is only about a 6-minute drive away and is definitely worth visiting. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. I stayed in the apartments, and while the breakfast selection there was slightly more limited compared to the main hotel, there was still a good variety. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of options available. The Chinese restaurant was absolutely lovely, with great food and a nice atmosphere. The only small point is that having a few more English-speaking staff would make the experience even smoother. The City Bistro, in my opinion, was slightly overpriced compared to other options nearby. Overall, the staff were all warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. It really has everything you would expect from a solid 4-star hotel. I would definitely stay here again!"
