“Stayed at WorldMark Galena from February 6-8, 2026, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful wooded view right from our suite. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. A special shout-out to Mike at the front desk, whose friendliness and local knowledge were exceptional. He was always ready to help and offered fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better. For a relaxing, hassle-free stay with excellent……

“The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous……

“As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more……
