All in all the hotel it's nice and safe

I did enjoy my stay, the only problem I experienced it was the fact that when I wanted to shower in the morning the was no water.

Comfortable and easily accessible

The rooms were tidy and very comfortable. From check in to check out everything went smoothly. The rooms needs to have hair dryers and irons to make the stay even more convenient. That way guests can fix themselves without having to call someone and checkout will be faster This was my 2nd stay at the hotel and won’t hesitate to book my next stay there.

Foi tranquilo, porém no dia seguinte pela manhã, quando descemos para tomar o café, tivemos a informação que precisávamos pagar, mas minha diaria era com café incluso. Depois de apresentar o voucher novamente e a recepcionista confirmar com o hoteis.com é que foi liberado. Achei isso muito chato e constragedor, deveria haver uma comunicação melhor entre as empresas para não acontecer.

The bedding and towels look very old and needs changing. I was not convinced of the cleanliness of my room at all as it was so stuffy and the sheets looked very old.

Poor Service from reception

Two times I booked through Hotel.Com and they refused to give me free breakfast that is on the advert. The advert on Hotels.Com says free Breakfast. They claimed that Hotels.Com gives them little money, hence they cannot give breakfast. After a lengthy argument, I gave up. This happened two times and I forwarded them proof of payment from Hotels.Com, but they were just not ready honor their promises. I will not recommend this hotel for international travelers. First time I was given room 109, when I got there I found that there someone's stuff and the bed is not ready someone just woke up. The girl apologized and gave me another room. In the morning - breakfast argument. Second time, I found a guy who looked like he is a senior person there and he promised to look into my first breakfast situation. He also requested I forward proof of payment, which he already has from Hotels.Com. Whoever own this hotel need to take his stuff for another training so that they know how to treat international people travelling into South Africa. The reception is worse than all 52 hotels I slept in throughout my travelling life.

Morning Star Express Hotel made my trip a memorable one. The fact that they deliver services as they said and they are already happy to help. I would recommend anyone to experience their super service.

Not the best choice

Although situated in centre of town, the area seems dodgy and unsafe. The hotel has a modern design in lobby and room. However the rooms are tiny and the bathrooms are very basic and not looked after. the shower is missing a head and water coming directly from the pipe. On the housekeeping level the hotel is kept very clean, but on the maintenance level its not up to standard. Staff was very friendly.
