「We had a wonderful stay in the Stowe Farmhouse. The home is beautiful and very well equipped. We decided to stay in Stowe for our daughter’s graduation from UVM and couldn’t have been any happier. The home was perfect for our family with 4 beautiful bedrooms and 3&1/2 bathrooms. We were able to walk to the Main Street of Stowe and had access to the hiking path from the Quiet Path just across the street. The communication with the owners was great. Thank you again for a lovely stay!」

「Beautiful cabin. Spotless. More than enough room for two people. Never seen so many stars at night. Did some hiking and relaxing. Fire pit every night. There is a hardware store in Hardwick if the firewood is damp. Not going to have much cell service in surrounding areas so plan accordingly. Wick at the cabin though. Would love to bring family here.」

I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. 「Really beautiful, especially in the fall. We came the second week in October and some reds had fallen but there was a lot of yellow. We were so warm and cozy! There is no way to cook food though, just an outdoor sink, fresh water, and toilet. If you’re coming from out of town make sure you rent a car. There is no Lyft or Uber service in the area.」
